Samsung rolled out the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update for the Galaxy S4 I9500 a few days back. The update packed up some great changes and enhancements. A whole new UI is introduced, new notifications on the lock screen, performance enhancements, battery enhancements, bug fixes, Material Design inspired applications are all there.

If you’ve already updated your device and you also happen to be an Android power user, you must be looking for a way to root your device now and unleash its true power running on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop. 2. Your phone’s battery must be charged at least over 60%. In case your phone goes dead during the flashing process, it might result in bricking it. Charge your device before you proceed.

3. Always use OEM data cable to establish a connection between your phone and your computer. Using third-party data cables might cause connection issues.

4. While using Odin3, turn off Samsung Kies, Windows Firewall and any Antivirus software if you’re using.

5. It is always recommended to backup your important data before you flash anything on your device. You may backup using the following guides on our site.

How to Install CWM on your Galaxy S4 I9500 Running Android 5.0.1 Lollipop

Download the file for your variant carefully.
Open Odin3.exe.
Put your Tab 3 8.0 in download mode, to do so, turn it off completely. Now turn it on by pressing and holding Volume Down + Home Button + Power Key, you should see a warning now, press Volume Up to continue.
In case the download mode method doesn’t work for your device, try one of the methods from this guide.
Connect your phone to your PC.
The ID:COM box in Odin should turn blue now, that means your phone is connected properly in download mode.
Click on the “AP” tab in Odin 3.09 and select the downloaded Recovery.tar file.
In case you’re using Odin 3.07, click on the PDA tab in Odin and select the downloaded Recovery.tar file and let it load.
Make sure that all options in Odin are un-ticked except “F.Reset Time” and “Auto-Reboot”. Match your Odin screen with the picture below.
Hit start now and sit back, it will take a few seconds to flash the recovery, once finished, disconnect your device from your PC.
Press and hold Volume Up + Home Button + Power Key to access the Philz Advanced CWM that you just installed.
You can backup your current ROM and do a lot of other things using the options in CWM Recovery.
Make sure that you make Nandroid and EFS backup and save it on your PC as well. Find the option in CWM Recovery.

How To Root Your Galaxy S4 I9500 Running Android 5.0 Lollipop Now

If you want to root your device now, you can download the SuperSu.zip file.
Place the downloaded file on your phone’s sd card.
Open CWM and select Install > Select / Choose Zip > SuperSu.zip and flash it.

How to Root Sony Xperia Z2 C6543 on 23.0.1.A.0.167 with Locked Bootloader

Since the arrival of 23.0.1.A.0.167 update for Sony Xperia Z2, there isn’t any simple or typical way to root the device while running this Firmware. A lot has tried in the past, but somehow there methods were only for their own device, doesn’t work on others and even if they does, some of their apps stop working or the rooting methods does something that forces the users to go back to Stock device again. However, XDA member rafaelbelo, has arrived with another rooting method, quite unique and different, no need for a locked bootloader or any different tool or any of the complex adb commands, all you need is the Flashtool and a little knowledge about the Flashtool.

The process, put simply, goes on like this, first you will downgrade the device, root it on the downgraded version using towelroot, update the fimrware to the same version again and thus the latest firmware will be reveled, update it and your device will maintain the root along with the latest firmware running, without any need of an un-locked bootloader. Without further ado, let us continue to the Back-up links along with the Step-by-Step tutorial.

Early Preparations:

This is only for Xperia Z2 C6543!
Battery should be charged at least over 60%

How to Root Sony Xperia Z2 C6543:

Downgrade & Root 7.1.2.A.0.314 Firmware:

First of All Downgrade your device to 7.1.2.A.0.314 Firmware, make sure to use the Firmware for your region, for further help, follow the link
After the Downgrade, Navigate to Flashtool Menu > My 65XX > Root > Force Towel Root.
Now Choose the Super SU Option, if prompted.
Look at the Mobile Screen and Tap “make it rain” and let it run.
The phone will restart and after the Reboot your device will be rooted.

Update your device:

Now that your device is rooted on 7.1.2.A.0.314 Firmware, it is time to update it.

You’ll be prompted to update your device to the same version, if Yes then update it.
Once updated, your device will be rooted
After this another OTA will show up, (if the above process won’t be there don’t worry, just update the device to latest firmware via OTA)
This time it will be 23.0.1.A.0.167 version, let it download and install
That is it, just make sure to pray that the root will be there after this update

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab devices are the most widely used tablet devices. Samsung is rolling out the Galaxy Tab iterations in a group of siblings. The Galaxy Tab 3 comes in the form of 7.0 inches, 8.0 inches and 10.0 as well. And all these devices are further divided into different variants. The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 comes as Galaxy Tab 3 WiFi, Galaxy Tab 3 LTE and Galaxy Tab 3 3G. On the Tab 3 8.0, there’s an 8.0 inches screen with a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels with 189 ppi. Samsung’s very own Exynos 4212 CPU clocked at 1.5 GHz is powering up this device, there’s a RAM of 1.5 GB. A battery of 4450 mAh is adding life to this device. We have a 5 MP shooter fixed at the back and a 1.3 MP shooter fixed on the front for video calling. Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is currently running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

Install Official Android 5.0.1 Lollipop On Galaxy S4 I9500

Few days ago, Samsung started rolling out the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update to the Galaxy S4 I9500 owners in Russia. The update was available through OTA only, it wasn’t available through Kies or through any others mean. Just today, the firmware files have landed and the users who were anxious to sweeten their Galaxy S4 I9500 with Android 5.0 Lollipop have a chance to do so. Android 5.0 Lollipop happens to be the biggest update in the history of Android, and the update also happens to be the biggest in the history of Samsung Galaxy devices as Samsung has introduced a new UI to comply with Google’s Material Design UI. It is the UI, that became the reason for Samsung to delay this update for quite long as it took a lot of time for Samsung to redesign and revamp the whole UI. Apart from the UI changes, Android 5.0.1 Lollipop on the Galaxy S4 I9500 promises improved performance, stability, bug fixes, improved battery life, notifications on the lock screen a lot of other such enhancements. The update is worth installing and giving your Galaxy S4 a new life.

Although the update is based on the Russian region, but it doesn’t restrict it to the Russian users. Users can install the update on a Galaxy S4 in any other region in the world, all they need is, they need the same model number i.e. I9500, and they need to know the method to install this update. Early Preparations

1. This guide is only for Galaxy S4 GT-I9500.

Make sure that your device is exactly as mentioned above. To check out what device you have, go to Settings > More/General > About Device or Settings > About Device and match the model number. Be careful about the device model number, flashing a file on a device not listed here might result in bricking it up. In that case, we may not be held responsible.

2. Battery should be charged at least 60%!

Your device’s battery shouldn’t be weak. In case your device goes dead during the flashing process, your device may get soft bricked and you might be in need of flashing stock firmware and that will ultimately result in wiping up your data as well. So, make sure that you charge your device before you start the flashing process.

3. Use the OEM data cable to establish connection!

Always use the original data cable to establish connection between your Android device and your computer / laptop. Using ordinary data cables might interrupt the flashing process, so to avoid any mishap, you need to meet this requirement as well.

4. Backup everything!

Just to be on the safe side, you may consider backing up each and everything from your Android device. This is highly recommended so that in case anything goes wrong, you still have the access to all of your data and you can restore it immediately. Also, clean install is always recommended, that means you will probably have to wipe your device to install the new firmware. So, you may backup everything as listed below.

5. Install Samsung USB drivers

In order to be able to establish connection between your PC and your Galaxy S4, you need to have the Samsung USB drivers installed on your PC. You can find all Android USB drivers here on our site.

6. Turn off Samsung Kies and other softwares while using Odin3!

Make sure that you turn off Samsung Kies while using Odin3 flashtool. Samsung Kies will interrupt Odin3 and will result in causing errors and may not let you flash your desired firwmrae. Also, make sure that you turn off any antivirus software you’ve installed and also disable firewall to avoid any connection and flashing issues.

Download and extract Odin3 v3.09.
Download and extract firmware file to get the .tar.md5 file.

How To Install Official Android 5.0.1 Lollipop On Galaxy S4 I9500

Make sure that you read the instructions listed above carefully and you’re all set to go ahead now.
Wipe your device complete in order to attain a neat installation. You may boot into the recovery mode and perform a factory data reset.
Open Odin3.exe.
Put your GT-I9500 in download mode. To do so, turn it off and wait for 10 seconds. Turn it on by pressing and holding Volume Down + Home Button + Power Key simultaneously, You should see a warning, press Volume Up to continue. In case this method doesn’t work for you, try one from this guide.
Connect your device to your PC.
As soon as Odin detects your phone, the ID:COM box should turn blue. Make sure that you’ve installed Samsung USB drivers before connecting.
For Odin 3.09 hit the AP tab. Select the firmware.tar.md5 or firmware.tar, that you downloaded and extracted above.
If you’re using Odin 3.07, you will select “PDA” tab instead of the AP tab, rest of the options remain untouched.
Make sure that the options selected in your Odin are exactly as shown in the pic.
Hit start and wait till the firmware flashing is complete, The flashing process box will turn green upon successful flashing.
Once the flashing process has been completed successfully, disconnect your device and reboot it manually. You can pull out the battery, place it back and turn on.
Once the device boots up, checkout the new firmware now.
Your device will be running on official Android 5.0.1 Lollipop firmware.

This guide is intended for Xperia Z3 D6603 or D6653 users with the firmware build 23.0.A.2.93 or a firmware older then October, 2014. You can check your device model number and software details in settings > about phone.
You must have Android ADB & Fastboot drivers installed on your PC. Follow our guide to install Minimal ADB & Fastboot drivers in 2 minutes.
Enable USB debugging on your device. To do so, you need to enable Developer Options first. Go to settings > about device > tap build number for 7 times and you will get the Developer Options in settings now. Now open developer options and enable USB debugging.
Also, enable Allow Mockup Locations under Developer Options on your Xperia Z3.
Use OEM data cable to establish connection between your PC and phone.
Disconnect unnecessary USB devices to avoid connection conflict.
Disable your firewall or any antivirus software if you’re using one.
Follow the instructions to the letter and go ahead.

Download the latest version of giefroot root tool. Get it here.
Extract the downloaded root tool folder.
Enable flight mode/airplane mode on your Xperia Z3.
Now connect your device to your PC. Make sure that USB debugging and allow mockup location are enabled.
Once attached, run the install.bat file from the extracted folder.
Follow the on-screen instructions now and finish the process, once done, disconnect your device.

Sony Xperia Z3 Compact came out a few months back at IFA, 2014. Xperia Z3 Compact is a perfect combination of specifications and size. It’s a pretty cool smartphone. There’s a 4.7 inch screen on the front having a 2 MP cam atop of it, a 20.7 MP shooter is fixed at the back. Under the hood, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU clocked at 2.5 GHz accompanied by Adreno 330 GPU. A RAM of 2 GB is placed inside while the internal storage is 16 GB. There’s an external SD Card slot as well on this device and a 2600 mAh battery is fixed inside. These specifications are pretty much surprising when it comes to the size of this device.

Sony sure did a great job with the Xperia Z3 Compact. Now that the device is out, developers have already got their hands on it and there’s enough stuff to play around. To pave a way for unleashing the true power of your Xperia Z3 Compact, you need root access and most of the methods available will require you to unlock the bootloader of your Z3 Compact. The compatible OS is Android 4.4.4 KitKat with the build number 23.0.A.2.93, it won’t work any other build number that came after .93.

It is simple, if you can’t log-in to your iCloud account you can’t use your Apple Device, however, there are times when you need to enter your Apple ID install some app or stuff and right about the time when the ID pop-up shows, it starts a never ending loop, which can only be stopped by pressing the Home Button, the real problem is that when you revised the process, the loop revised itself again and again, no matter how many times you try. The reasons behind this problem is either with your Wi-Fi, or the update that you has recently installed or skipped.

Whatever the problem is, we all know that this problem can be teasing and also in the time of need it can beat the hell out of you. If there are those who are still looking for a solution to get rid of this problem, we have a simple solution for this problem. There are only Two possible solutions, if none of them works, Restore your device, but make sure if it is really necessary.

Fix Sign in to iCloud Popup Loop:

Re-Enter the Apple ID:

Visit https://appleid.apple.com/
Sign in using your Apple ID that you don’t use much by clicking the Manage your Apple ID
Click on Edit right next to the Apple ID and Primary Email Address
Now Enter the Apple ID that you don’t want to use again, the previous one will help
Having Change your ID, Reset your device
Again you’ll be asked to enter your Apple ID
Now enter the current Apple ID, that was at the time when you were asked by cloud
Change the Apple ID and Make Sure to Confirm it

Wi-Fi and Hard Reset:
