LineageOS 15 Custom ROM is now available for the OnePlus 2. The available LineageOS 15 ROM is in alpha stage, but it has got the mainstream features working. You can find the Phone, Mobile Data and the SMS messages working all well in this ROM. WiFi and Bluetooth also seem to be working good. Hotspot, FP, VoLTE, Sensors, and GPS are also working. The only things crashing for now include video recording for now.
OnePlus 2’s last update was the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The device couldn’t taste Android Nougat, and it won’t get the Android Oreo update either. OnePlus 2 was released back in the year 2015. This device sported 5.5-inch full HD display. OnePlus powered this phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 GPU and Adreno 430 GPU. OnePlus 2 was also among the devices which come with a heavy spec-sheet and an affordable price tag. Since OnePlus 2 won’t be getting any further update of the Android OS, the only option you can go with to power up your phone with the brand new Android OS is by means of a custom ROM.
If you don’t already know about LineageOS, it’s important to know that it’s the same old CyanogenMod custom ROM.
