YouTube has been working on different features to improve their platform. A few ago, they introduced the Mobile Live Streaming option from their app to channels which have more than 10,000 subscribers. Now working on improving engagement with users the company is rolling out another update, in which users will be able to see content suggestions in the form of thumbnails when they are playing the video in full screen.
Well this is a good addition, especially for times when the content is not interesting and people end up closing the app because they are unable to either find something good or nothing catches their eye. Through the recent update, the thumbnail suggestions will be providing people with alternatives that they can have a look at. This will definitely end up increasing user engagement on the forum.
Google is testing this feature and at the moment very few people have received this update on their app. Once the developers are done testing different elements of the update, this feature will be rolled down globally soon.
