Xiaomi Mi Max 3 to break phone screen records with a 7-inch 18:9 display

As bezels get thinner and thinner, the screen proportionately increases. A 5.8-inch screen of the Galaxy S9 feels like a 5.2-inch device thanks to that ‘Infinity Display’ and Xiaomi is using the same approach with the upcoming Mi Max 3. The Mi Max series is Xiaomi’s way of offering a massive phone that features its own series of natural benefits.

This will include a huge screen, huge battery capacity and an affordable price tag that gives you a premium phone that may or may not fit in the pocket of your jeans. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has been rumored to feature a massive 7-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The display might be big, but because the bezels have been reduced, it will not appear as such when the buyer picks it up for the first time in his or her hands.

There will be two chipset variants belonging to the Xiaomi Mi Max 3. One of them will feature a Snapdragon 630, while the second one will have more kick to it because it will be powered by a Snapdragon 660. If the information provided is accurate, we could be seeing a 5,500mAh battery in the Mi Max 3 which will be compatible with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

The battery is obviously going to be non-removable, but the amount of screen on time you will be able to experience with it is going to be phenomenal. Since the bezels are going to be trimmed, you obviously cannot expect the fingerprint scanner to be present at the back, though Huawei did it with the Honor V10.

Our hunch tells us that the scanner is going to be present at the back, and we could also be seeing a dual camera at the rear panel too. Looking at the Snapdragon 630 or Snapdragon 660, we do not expect a huge price tag for the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 either.
