As with any upcoming flagship, Samsung is the fodder of the rumor mills right now with information about its different aspects popping right and left. One of confusing aspects is the launch dates for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Earlier it was said that Galaxy S8 will be launched globally on 21st April but two weeks back another update suggested that the date has been pushed one more week and now the launch is set for April 28th. Two days back, the security analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities said that Galaxy S8 will arrive on April 21st. Now we do wonder on which date is it actually going to launch. Within all this, one thing did get confirmed, on which date will Galaxy S8 and S8+ hit the shelves in Canada. Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will go on sale April 28th in Canada.
There is a strong possibility that the global launch for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ is set for April 21st. Within such a situation South Korea and USA will be the first markets that the device arrives is. Most of the time devices arrive in Canada one week late. We sure can hear the cries of disgruntled customers in Canada. Given that the flagship is already arriving late in the market, it would be unfair to delay it further. It has been more than a year since die hard Sammy fans have gotten their hands on a top notch Samsung flagship.
There are two reasons for the delayed global launch. Firstly, both Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895 have been produced using the 10nm process and yield of this chipset has been quite low. Secondly, after the Galaxy Note 7 disaster the company wanted to take the time bring their flagship so such issues do not occur again. So, are you looking forward to getting Galaxy S8 or would rather stick with some other brand?
