Samsung at any given moment has its fingers in different project which includes their flagships, tablets, mid range devices and wearable. For the past two years one of the aspects that Samsung has focused on is streamlining the mid-range smartphones and their best have paid off. Galaxy A series and Galaxy C series produce devices synonymous with good specs and features with an affordable price point and are quite popular among for providing the best value. Keeping this in view Samsung will be launching 2017 editions of its A-series devices namely: Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 in India in the coming weeks.
Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) will be an entry level smartphone which will feature a 4.7-inch HD display. The device will be equipped with Samsung’s own Exynos 7870 processor along with a 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be extended via the microSD card. In terms of camera specs, the smartphone will have a 13MP main and 8MP front facing camera. Galaxy A3 (2017) will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by a 2350mAH battery. Galaxy S3 (2017) is expected to be priced at INR 15,999.
The second smartphone in the series, Galaxy A5 (2017) is a mid-ranger with solid specs. The smartphone will feature a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display. Like Galaxy A3 (2017) it will use Samsung’s own chipset Exynos 7880 SoC, which will be paired with a 3GB RAM and 32GB of native storage that can be extended via the microSD card to 256GB. Given the rise and popularity of visual content, Samsung has equipped the smartphone with a 16MP main and 16MP selfie shooter. The device will run Android Marshmallow out of the box and will have a 3000 mAh battery. This smartphone will be priced at INR 22,999.
Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) is the power house of the series. The smartphone sports a 5.7-inch FULL HD display. Under the hood it will be have the Exynos 7880 processor along with a 3GB RAM and 32 GB of base storage tha can be extended. Just like Galaxy A5 (2017) it will have a 16MP front and a 16MP front facing camera. With good camera specs one of the top priorities among consumers, this comes as no surprise that Samsung focused on equipping the smartphones with good camera specs. The device will be powered by 3600mAh battery and will run Android Marshmallow. Galaxy A7 (2017) will retain at INR 29,999.
All three smartphones will have a metal glass design aimed at giving it a premium look. Along with that the Galaxy A (2017) series smartphones come with IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The smartphones will be announced in Indian in the coming weeks.
