Required downloads & installations

  1. Download and install OnePlus USB drivers.
  2. Also, download and install Minimal ADB & Fastboot drivers.
  3. Download SuperSu.zip file and copy it to your phone’s internal storage.

Unlock OnePlus 3 Bootloader

Unlocking bootloader will wipe your device. Make sure that you’ve backed up everything before going ahead.

  1. Make sure that you’ve downloaded and installed Minimal ADB & Fastboot drivers on your Windows PC or installed Mac ADB & Fastboot for Mac.
  2. Connect your phone to your PC now.
  3. Now open Minimal ADB & Fastboot.exe from your desktop. If you do not have this file on your desktop, then go to your Windows installation drive i.e. C drive > Program Files > Minimal ADB & Fastboot > Press and hold Shift Key + Right click on an empty area with the open folder > click “Open command window here”.
  4. Now in the command window enter the following commands one by one.

    • adb reboot-bootloader

      This will reboot your Nvidia Shield in bootloader. Once booted up, issue the following command.

      fastboot devices

      This command will verify the connection of your device with your PC in fastboot mode.

    • fastboot oem unlock

      This command will unlock the bootloader. As soon as you press the enter key after typing this command, you will get a message in your phone asking for the confirmation of bootloader unlocking. Use volume up & down keys to navigate through options and confirm unlocking.

    • fastboot reboot

      This command will reboot your phone. That’s all, disconnect your phone.

How To Install TWRP Recovery on OnePlus 3

  1. Download recovery.img file for OnePlus 3.
  2. Copy recovery.img file to Minimal ADB & Fastboot folder which is located in program files in your windows installation drive.
  3. Now boot your OnePlus 3 into fastboot mode as suggested in step 4 above.
  4. Connect your OnePlus 3 to your PC now.
  5. Open Minimal ADB & Fastboot.exe explained in step 3 above.
  6. Now in the command window enter following commands:

  • fastboot devices

    fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

  • fastboot boot recovery.img

    (this will boot your device in TWRP recovery mode)

    To boot manually into TWRP recovery mode, unplug USB cable from your OnePlus 3 and turn off your device completely by keeping the power key pressed for a while. Now press and hold Volume Down + Power Key to turn on your OnePlus 3. As soon as your phone’s screen turns on, leave the Power Key and keep the Volume Down Key pressed. Your device will now boot into TWRP recovery mode.

How To Root OnePlus 3

  1. Make sure that you’ve copied SuperSu.zip file to your phone. In case you haven’t, do it now.
  2.  Now boot your phone into TWRP recovery mode. To do so, turn it off completely first. Now turn it on by pressing and holding Volume Down + Power Key. If this doesn’t work for you then try Volume Up + Power or both, Volume Down + Up + Power to boot into recovery mode.
  3. As you see TWRP recovery, tap “Install > Locate the copied SuperSu.zip file (should be at the bottom) > tap this file > Swipe the bar at the bottom of the screen to confirm flash”.
  4. As soon as SuperSu.zip file is flashed, go back to the main menu in TWRP and tap reboot > system.
  5. Your device will boot up now. Find SuperSu in the app drawer. Install the Root Checker app to verify root access.

Fix Galaxy Note 4 Not Receiving Text Messages:

  • Start with the soft reset.
  • Check your signal reception.
  • Clear Cache and data of messaging app. ( Settings->Applications->All Apps-> Messaging App-> Clear Cache.)
  • Try clearing cache partition.

In this post, I’ll help you fix HTC 10 that won’t connect to Wi-Fi & other internet issues. There no device which is perfect in every way, although HTC 10 is the best device so far from HTC, but as i said it’s not perfect. Following is the list of all the issue that we have received so far.

Now I’ve address all the issues separately, now these will help you fix these issues but if you are having a hardware problem. The best solution is that you should go to HTC service nearby.

HTC 10 CANNOT CONNECT TO WI-FI NETWORK IT USED TO CONNECT:

Now this seems to be problem with your WiFi connection because you were connecting your device before and now it’s not connecting that means you have issues with your WiFi connection. First i think you should try connect your device with another WiFi network, if it works fine that means you have to try following steps.

  • Go to your device Settings->WiFi->Tap on the connection->Forget.
  • Now connect your device with same connection.
  • Turn off/on your WiFi router.
  • Reset your Router Settings.
  • Call the connection provider and make sure your net connection is live.
  • Change your WiFi router and connect your device.
  • Make sure your password is same.

HTC 10 REBOOTS OR HANGS WHENEVER WI-FI IS TURNED ON:

I’ve received a e-mail from our one of reader that, When he turns on WiFi on HTC 10 his device reboots or hangs. When he is using mobile data, there is no such issue. Following are the all possible solution to fix this issue.

Boot your HTC 10 in safe mode:

We are booting in to Safe mode because it will help us to determine the problem.

  1. Unlock your device, Press and hold the Power key for few seconds. A Window will appear.
  2. You have to touch and hold power off option shown in the window until a prompt telling you to ‘Reboot in safe mode’ appears.
  3. Now tap on the ‘Reboot in safe mode’ and tap OK to confirm.
  4. When your device boots up, you’ll be in Safe Mode.

Once your are in Safe mode that means now you are running only stocks apps, no third-party will is allowed to run. Now turn on your Wifi to check that still it’s  triggering the problem or not. If it’s running fine then i would suggest that use your device in Safe mode for a day or two. If you face the same issue that means its a firmware problem or If you don’t face the same issue that means one of third-party app is causing the issue. Now for the firmware problem you can try the following steps.

Try deleting the system cache:

  • Turn off your device.
  • Press and hold volume down button.
  • Press+hold power key and release it when your device vibrates. But don’t let go off volume down button.
  • As you see a black screen with red and blue line of texts appears, let go the volume down key.
  • You’ll see a list of options, use the volume down button to highlight “reboot to bootloader” and press the Power key to confirm it.
  • Wait for few seconds, now as the white screen appears, use the volume down button and highlight the option “BOOT TO RECOVERY MODE” and press the Power key to select it.
  • Once you are in recovery menu, use the volume down key to highlight “wipe cache partition” and use power key to select it.
  • Wait for wiping process to completed and then choose “reboot system now”.

Perform master reset:

  • Turn off your device.
  • Press and hold volume down button.

HTC 10 WI-FI CAN’T BE TURNED ON AS SWITCH IS DISABLED:

Now for this issue, i think you should try the above methods and I am sure you’ll get a good result. I am adding the method you can use.

  1. Boot your device in safe mode and see if the Wi-Fi switch is enabled
  2. If mobile data is enabled, disable it and check Wi-Fi.
  3. Wipe the cache partition
  4. Master reset to refresh everything in your phone.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha made its way to the world back in August, 2014. The Galaxy Alpha was a little different from Samsung’s traditional devices since it boasted off a new design and a little different build quality. Samsung used a Super AMOLED 4.7-inch screen on the front with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and 312 ppi. Galaxy Alpha had a 12 MP camera on its back and a 2.1 MP shooter on the front. Galaxy Alpha’s internal storage was 32 GB and there was no external card slot. A RAM of 2GB and Exynos 5430 Octa CPU powered up this device. Galaxy Alpha originally ran on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. Later on Samsung updated it to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. After the Android Lollipop, Samsung probably forgot this device and there hasn’t been any further version of Android available for this device nor there is any sign of any update.

When manufacturers stop the software update for one of their old devices, it always restricts the users with the same software where the updates stopped for the rest of the life. Preparations

  1. This ROM will only work with the variants of the Galaxy Alpha which are listed above. Do not try this on any other variant. Otherwise you will result in bricking it.
  2. Your phone should be charged up to 50%. This is important to avoid any power issues during the flashing process.

How to Update Galaxy Alpha to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Resurrection Remix Custom ROM

  1. Make sure that your phone has a TWRP recovery installed.
  2. Now download the latest build of Resurrection Remix ROM: ResurrectionRemix-M-vxxxxxxxxxxxx-slte.zip 
  3. Download the Google GApps.zip file according to your liking: GApps.zip
  4. Copy both the downloaded .zip files to your phone’s internal SD card.
  5. Now boot your phone into recovery mode. To do so, first turn it off completely. Now turn it on by pressing and holding Volume Up + Home + Power Key.
  6. In TWRP Recovery, tap install > locate the copied ROM.zip file > Select it > Swipe finger to flash it.
  7. Once the ROM.zip file has been flashed, go back to the main menu. Once again tap install > locate the GApps.zip file > Select it > Swipe finger to flash it.
  8. Now that both files have been flashed, go back to the main menu and tap Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Select Dalvik Cache and Cache > Swipe finger to wipe.
  9. Once done, reboot your phone.
  10. As your phone boots up, it will be running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Resurrection Remix ROM.
  11. That’s all.

The first boot may take up to 10 minutes, so there is no need to panic in this while. In case something goes wrong after flashing the ROM, you can restore your Nandroid backup.
