Oppo R15 Neo or AX5 Spec Sheet Surfaces

Oppo has been making the waves in the news for the past couple of weeks. The Chinese vendor is set to release its F9 and F9 Pro smartphones in the coming week. Oppo has been teasing the F9 and F9 Pro on its social media handles. The company has released several teasers on its YouTube channels as well. It looks like the company is not working on the F9/F9 Pro only. There is another smartphone that the company has been working on and it has just leaked today. The other smartphone is the Oppo R15 Neo or the AX5. A full spec sheet of this phone has made it to the internet today.

In some markets, the phone will be called Oppo R15 Neo and in some, it will be called AX5. This will be a low-end smartphone as per the spec sheet suggests. The Oppo R15 Neo will be offered in Diamond Blue and Diamond Pink colors. The phone’s dimensions areĀ 156.2 x 75.6 x 8.2 mm and it will weigh at 168 grams.

The Oppo R15 Neo will house a 6.2-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. Since the notch is here to stay, the phone will likely have the display ratio of 19:9. Oppo R15 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. Under the hood, it will have internal storage of 64GB and a RAM of 3 GB or 4 GB. At the back, this phone will have a dual-rear camera with one sensor of 13 MP f/2.2 and the other sensor of 2MP f/2.4. On the front, it will have an 8MP f/2.2 selfie shooter.

Oppo R15 Neo or the AX5 will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Oppo will theme the Android Oreo with the help of its ColorOS. The phone supports 2.4 GHz WiFi and has the Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity as well. Oppo R15 has a USB Type-C port at the bottom. Under the hood, this device has a massive 4,230 mAh battery.

Although this device is pretty low as compared to the F9 and F9 Pro, it still beats the devices in the battery department. The pricing and release date details are not known yet.
