OnePlus is doing a good job in bringing the latest updates to their devices. Two weeks back they rolled out the Android 7.1.1 update through their Open Beta 3 to OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. Now the Android 7.1.1 / OxygenOS 4.1 update is being rolled to all the OnePlus 3 and 3T users via the OTA.
As this is an incremental update, there wouldn’t be any major changes. The camera software is getting tweaked and now has improved blur reduction for moving objects while taking pictures. Apart from the photographs, there are upgrades in the video section as well with improved stability. In addition, connectivity issues for the Bluetooth and the Wi-Fi have been fixed. There are some other ‘bug fixes’ but OnePlus does not provide any detail on them. Along with all of this users will be getting the latest March Security Pack.
From the quick updates and pushing the new upgrades from the Open Beta program to everyone means that things there weren’t much issues to start with. Users enrolled in the Open Beta’s do get to test out the updates first, so that if there are any issues that can be worked on. OnePlus indeed is at the top of their game as OnePlus 3 and 3T join the novel list of devices having Android 7.1.1 on board.
