Nokia made quite a splash at the Mobile World Congress last month under HMD Global. The company announced Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and a re-conceptualized Nokia 3310. After the announcement the question is when will these Nokia smartphones arrive in the market.
According to Tomislav Himbele, Head of Marketing for Eastern Europe at HMD Global, Nokia smartphones will be arriving in the market in the later half of Q2. So, expect the devices to arrive in markets somewhere in May. Even though the pre-orders for Nokia smartphones have started in different European markets, it seems like they won’t be hitting the shelves any time soon.
There are rumors that a Nokia flagship is also in works and if the rumor stands true we will be looking at it in June or July. HMD Global at the moment seems to be focusing on the mid-range category by producing smartphones which have a good specs, solid build and an affordable price point. This can be seen in the retail prices set, a Nokia 3 will be prices at €139, Nokia 5 at €189 and Nokia 3310 at €49. While Nokia 6 will be priced at €229 and its Arte Black Limited Edition variant will sell at €299.
