A lot of information regarding the Nokia 9 has been spilled and if you were waiting for the flagship to come early, your prayers have been answered, but you will have to make a few compromises a long the way. Just like the Nokia 8, the Nokia 9 will not be featuring the latest Snapdragon 845 chipset.

Nokia 9 could have thin bezels, large battery but no Snapdragon 845, according to latest info

While there is not going to a monumental difference between a Snapdragon 845 and Snapdragon 835, lots of buyers will want the latest and greatest hardware if they will be paying upwards of $600 for the phone. There are other specifications that you should know about. Firstly, there is a rumor going on that the Nokia 9 will be announced on January 19, but pricing details have not been provided.

The phone might also have an 18:9 aspect ratio, so we could be looking at a resolution of 2880 x 1440, which is the same resolution as the LG V30. The Nokia 9 will also be taking advantage of OLED technology, so it will consume slightly less battery than the regular LCD technology. The smartphone itself according to the leaks comes with the model number TA-1005, and the battery capacity has been listed as 3,250mAh.

For a phone that carries an 18:9 aspect ratio, that is not a bad battery, but you will still have doubts in purchasing it because it features a Snapdragon 835 and not a Snapdragon 845. The Nokia 9 could have a dual front camera and a dual rear camera, but the combination at the back side might just be another monochrome lens rather than the telephoto lens.

While it is disappointing that the phone will be running a 2017 high-end SoC, the storage area is where you will be greatly impressed with. The Nokia 9 has been leaked to feature 128GB of internal storage, and it is more than possible that the phone will have a microSD slot to provide greater expansion than ever before.

Alleged render of Nokia 9

The phone might also come with Android Oreo pre-installed. Most devices still have yet to be updated to the latest operating system update from Google but because the phone is going to be unveiled in 2018, we should expect no less from the Nokia 9.
