Samsung will be unveiling two variants of their S-flagship, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ on 29th March in events held in USA and Europe. To date we have seen different renders and even live images of the alleged devices leak which show what we can expect from the upcoming smartphone. Today we have another set of renders which show Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ from various angles.
The renders are based on the leaked schematics and design details that have been leaked to date. At the first glance the devices in the images show a sleek shiny device with dual-curved display. Samsung this time around will be giving a boot to its iconic home button and that can be seen in the images too. That has given way to an increased screen to body ratio and the minimal bezels add to a true edge-to-edge display.
At the back of the device, we can see the camera setup, along with the flash and heart rate monitor. The fingerprint scanner has also been moved, placed on the right side of the camera from the home button. There were rumors that Samsung may end up putting the fingerprint scanner under the display of the device, but it seems that this will be a development for another time.
The renders are based on information available publicly, we cannot say how true they are to the final design that will be unveiled. The detailing and the renders themselves are quite imprssive and if Samsung manages to put out a device which looks like this, wouldn’t it be a treat for sore eyes and a device worth the wait.
