  1. Hi,
this is another nice step by step description of how to install CM. But unfortunately as with the others I found so far before it is not working with my phone.
I’m already failing during the installation of Philz Advanced CWM Recovery. I’m following the procedure step by step and there is no error at all. It’s just not installing philz. I should recognize the successful installation when I restart the device into “download mode”, right? But there I see always the same.
It seems it is not flashing anything. A little more details: The only thing I was able to flash so war at all was the Stock ROM which was initially installed: SLK-I9192DDU1BML1-20131231101048.

The only thing which I guess might cause problems is something shown in the download mode but I did not find a proper explanation on the web: Write protection: enable

    ODIN MODE
    PRODUCT NAME: GT-I9192
    CURRENT BINARY: Custom
    SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
    KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0x0
    KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x0
    CBS-CONFIG-LSB: 0x30
    BOOTLOADER AP SWREV: 1
    WRITE PROTECTION: Enable

Any help appreciated to get philz and CM11 installed on that f***ing phone.
    THANKS!

    • @disqus_aqkdQydrev:disqus what button combination are you trying to boot into the recovery mode? I believe that the recovery is already there but you’re unable to boot into it. Please try using Volume Up + Down + Power Key while your device is off and let me know if it works or not. Download mode and recovery mode, both are different from each other buddy. I hope you get it to work now. Good Luck.

      • In fact you are right. I tried since 2 weeks…. until I now realized that I was always booting into the download mode using the volume down key but never into the recovery mode using the volume UP key 🙁 so sad and stupid!
But BTW: I finally installed philz, rooted the device and installed CM11 – and the knox flag is not tripped!

  2. Hmm somehow my comment disappeared 🙁 so only short repeat:

I’m stuck with the first step already. Even there is no error while flashing or reboot, I do not manage to install philz. My device is a I9192.
Any hint what can be checked?

    • @disqus_aqkdQydrev:disqus is the flashing getting completed successfully? And are you booting up into the recovery mode properly? What button combination are you using?
