Those who were not going to purchase a Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ because they were hoping to get a better design with the eventual release of the Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9+ are going to be left heartbroken. The flagship that was expected to be released in 2018 was assumed to get thinner bezels than its predecessor as part of the Infinity Display getting better and better.

Unfortunately, it does not look like you will be greeted with a Galaxy S9 that will sport thinner bezels. Ice Universe, a Twitter user has revealed a picture of the Galaxy S9, which failed the testing process. This model sports fewer bezels than the Galaxy S8 but since it failed the tests that Samsung might have carried out on the flagship, this rumor has popped up stating that the phone will feature the same bezels as the Galaxy S8.

This will definitely come as a shock to most people. They would obviously have been holding off on their purchase to get their hands on the flagship that potentially looks better than the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ so they will have no choice but to be intrigued with the hardware improvements that come with the inception of the Galaxy S9.

Apart from being faster, both Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ have also been rumored to be smarter versions of their predecessors, and are expected to get an AI engine that will make them smarter than your average mobile device. In short, the facial recognition system could get a lot more reliable and faster, and so could the iris scanner.

Still, some users will always want a better design because let’s face it, some of us will always judge a phone from the design it sports, regardless of whatever it is packing outside or inside.

Let us hope that Samsung is able to come up with a better design, or this might not be a good release for the company.
