Energizer Launches Power Max P490 and P490S

Energizer has just launched a pair of new smartphones today. Both the new phones by Energizer are based on the Android Oreo. Since Energize specializes in the battery segment, it has tried its best to add the most powerful batteries inside its new phones. The new Energizer phones come with a 4,000 mAh battery. Energizer Power Max P490

The two phones by Energizer are named as the Energizer Power Max P490S and the Energizer Power Max P490. Both these phones have the same hardware. The Power Max P490S happens to be a high-end variant with the help of slight differences in its specifications.

The Energizer Power Max P490S and P490 have a 4.95-inch display. The aspect ratio of these phones is 18:9 and its resolution is only 480 x 960 px. Both the phones are 65.8mm wide. Energizer has applied a tempered glass protector on the screens of these phones. There is a shockproof case packed inside the boxes as well.

Energizer P490S is powered by MediaTek MT6739WA Quad-Core Cortex A53 CPU. There is a RAM of 2GB and the internal storage of this phone is 16GB. The phone also supports external microSD cards up to 32GB. The P490S runs on Android Oreo out of the box. The P490S also has LTE connectivity.

On the other hand, the Energizer P490 is powered by the MediaTek MT6580 CPU having a Quad-Core Cortex-A7 CPU. There is a RAM of the only 1GB inside this phone and its internal storage is 8GB. This phone runs on Android Oreo Go Edition out of the box. The Power Max P490’s video recording resolution is restricted to 720P because of its low-end hardware. These new phones have dual camera shooters at the back and on the front. There is an LED flash at the back and on the front as well. The camera at the back is capable of shooting 1080P videos. The front 5MP camera has a VGA depth sensor only. Both these phones have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well. Since the headphone jack has now become a feature, these phones have this feature as well. These phones make the use of a micro USB port to allow charging and connectivity.
