A couple of days back, Vivo announced the X23. This new phone from the Chinese phone maker is the powerhouse. The Vivo X23 comes with flagship-grade specifications packed inside a beautiful body. Although there is nothing in the Vivo X23’s design that you have not seen before, the phone has a number of new features to offer.

First off, the Vivo X23 comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen. This screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Thankfully, there is no ugly big notch on this phone. But yes, there is a waterdrop notch instead. It is the same kind of notch that you have already seen on the Essential Phone, Oppo F9 and Oppo R17 phones. The Vivo X23’s display ratio is 19:9.

Vivo has deployed the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 CPU inside this phone. It is accompanied by the Adreno 615 GPU. There is RAM of 8GB in this phone alongside the internal storage chip of 128GB. At the back, the X23 has a dual camera setup housing one sensor of 12MP and another of 13MP. On the front, it has a 12MP camera that can be seen inside the tiny notch.

The Vivo X23 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The OS is customized by Vivo’s own Funtouch OS. There is a battery of 3,400 mAh in this phone.

The Vivo X23 comes right after the Oppo R17 smartphones. Knowing that Vivo is a sister company of Vivo X23, it doesn’t remain a surprise anymore that this phone totally follows the footsteps of Oppo’s recently released smartphones. Just like the R17 Pro, the X23 has an under-display fingerprint scanner.
