Google has made it official now. The Android P is Android Pie. This also brings the developer previews to an end. It means the final stable builds of the Android Pie for the Pixel phones will be rolling out anytime now.
Afte going through thousands of speculations, anticipations and rumors, the name of the Android P has been made official. Many users came up with various names started with the word P. It was always expected the P in Android P most likely stands for the Pie. Since Google usually names its Android versions after a dessert, the word Pie seemed more realistic. It is officially known that Android P means Android Pie.
Earlier today, Verizon updated its pages that the company is all set to roll out new updates for its Google Pixel customers. Verizon mentioned that the next update is the Android 9.0. So far, it was speculated that Google will release the Android 9.0 on August 20. However, the update came out as a surprise.
Verizon has also listed the changelog for this update. According to Verizon, the update date was August 6, 2018. These are the features that are listed on Verizon’s website:
