BeatsX and AirPods easily paired with your iPhone, but they were not always the greatest solution for a wireless audio experience. Apple will definitely have some time to reflect on the things that it could improve when it releases the new and improved pair of AirPods.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at KGI Securities, Apple will be releasing upgraded AirPods during the second half of 2018. What sort of changes and hardware mumbo jumbo have been implemented in the next generation of AirPods, the analyst did not comment at this time, but it is possible that they are introduced in more color models for a different class of buyers.
If you notice the Apple Store, the AirPods are unavailable at this time and this is because of supply constraints that Apple is experiencing at this time. When the next generation of AirPods is released, they could feature a price that’s higher than the first generation AirPods.

Or, Apple could use the same price, and reduce the price of the first generation wireless audio peripherals in order to reach a higher buyer base. The company announced the AirPods last year, during the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus keynote. We have a feeling that the same pair of wireless audio is going to be announced when Apple takes the stage to announce three new iPhones.
These three new iPhones have been rumored to not feature any bezels. The company is also planning an LCD model of the iPhone and even this version has been rumored to feature an edge-to-edge glass.

The exact release date of these AirPods was not included from the source, so the ‘second half of 2018’ period does not narrow it down, which is going to be troubling for a lot of readers.
