Apple announced a slew of new products like the 9.7-inch iPad, (Product) Red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus and new bands celebrating Spring for the Apple Watch. Apple Store was out for a downtime updating info on the products. Now all the products are available and can be ordered from the Apple Store online.
The new (Product) Red iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is a part of Apple’s initiative to support the global research on HIV and the company’s partnership with Red. So, the proceeds from the sales of the product will go towards a charitable cause. This is not the first time that the company has produced a specific product for the charity, earlier too they have gotten out Red colored products for the cause.
This is the first time that Apple has produced a red colored iPhone and looking at hype around the product, this maybe be something the company will repeat again in the future. iPhone 7 will be priced at $749 and 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus at $869.
Along with that the company also announced a new 9.7-inch iPad. The new iPad is the company’s bid to get improve their iPad sales. The entry level iPad features a 9.7-inch display along with an A9 SoC and a 32 GB native memory. The device will cost $329 and users at the moment can only get it from the online Apple Store.
