According to the rumors that we have heard, Google is planning to announce Android Wear on 8th or 9th February. In addition, LG will also be announcing two new smartwatches, LG Watch Sport and LG Watch Style, which will be the first wearable to have the Android 2.0 on board. One of the features that Google will be introducing in Android Wear 2.0 is Android Pay, similar to what Samsung has in the form of Samsung Pay. New screenshots have appeared which show how the Android Pay will work on Android Wear 2.0.
Power up the app when you have to make a transaction. Then select which card you will be making the payment on and the n hold your NFC-equipped watch to the payment terminal. Once your device is detected, a green check mark will let you know and then you can proceed with the payment. Through the app you will also be able to check your transactions made.
In the LG Watch Sport, one button is dedicated for Android Pay, so users just have to tap that button to power up the device and make the transaction. This is a handy feature and if tech companies work on improving features and add on features which people need, we can definitely see a bright future for the wearable apart from just being fitness trackers.
