Hitting the top charts, Flappy Bird has gone viral over the past few days and doesn’t seem to stop growing for even a while. Flappy Bird is available for free in the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store. A new 2D arcade game which has achieved the status of the most popular free game on both IOS and Android platform. If you don’t have patience, I am afraid this game is not suitable for you, but It’s a very simple game and yet very difficult to master.

Packed up in only 894K with quite low graphic quality, this game has the ability to do the things no other game can ever do. You might be wondering what’s special and why I’ve been talking about this game in such a way, well, I played this game recently on my phone. At first I was laughing, it was kinda funny as it took me almost 10 attempts to figure out what to do in the game. Tapped the screen once and the Angry Bird shaped creature fell down, tapped again it fell down, and then after completing a number of attempts tap the screen twice and figured out the game works on a tap system and we got to keep the bird in the Air in order to keep it flapping.

There are hurdles in the bird’s way, pipes coming from downside up and upside down and you got to take the bird through the gap between these pipes. After playing the game over a few times, I was like, through my phone away and then a nice thought came why not to delete this app instead of damaging my phone. Well, I didn’t delete it as I wanted to show it to a few friends who have been claiming themselves as a gaming expert, the game is set to reveal who’s a real expert and it’s kinda impossible to play as well. So, the so called gaming geeks out there… Brace yourselves!

This game has no power ups or any kind of special feature. Graphics are simple just like old arcade games, but the difficulty level is on a whole new level and that’s what make this game popular and viral. Samsung’s former flagship device Galaxy S3 is yet to receive Android 4.4 KitKat update. There’s a number of rumors suggesting this update to roll out in the first quarter of 2014, although the device is set to receive the update but Samsung hasn’t give any date officially yet. As long as there’s no official KitKat update for S3, the device owners may start feeling jealous form those running KitKat on their devices  and it may become harder for em’ to wait. Well, to finish your appetite we’ve something here today.

CyanogenMod 11 is now officially available for a number of devices and Galaxy S3 GT-I9305 is one of those lucky devices. In case you don’t know about it, CaynogenMod is an open source project aftermarket distribution of Android, and CM 11 is the aftermarket version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat. That makes the point clear now, you can enjoy Android 4.4.2 KitKat on your LTE Galaxy S3 using CM 11 custom ROM. In the following post we’ll be viewing a method that will help you to install it on your device. Before we move forward, you need to make sure that you’re familiar with custom ROMs  and the risks involved in flashing custom ROMs. In case you’re a newbie, some research may help you and in case you’re not good at this stop, it would not be wiser for you to install CM 11 on your device and you should stick to your stock Android ROM.cm11-2-480x274

In the following post, we’ll guide the Exynos Galaxy Note 3 owners through the process to get this custom ROM running on their device.  Before we move forward, you need to make sure that you’re familiar with custom ROMs. Although this is a stable custom ROM but still you got to know what you’re actually doing and what it may result in. If you’re new, just read the instructions being too careful. Move a little ahead with us and get it done.

Here are some pre-requisites and instructions that you must keep in mind before you start flashing this ROM.

      1. This firmware is only for Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900. Do not try this on any other device, check your device’s model in Settings > General > About Device.
      2. Your device’s battery should be charged at least over 60%. This is highly recommended in order to prevent any power issues during the flashing process.
      3. You need a custom recovery installed on your device. Follow our full guide to install TWRP.
      4. Make sure that you backup your important media content, Contacts, Call Logs & Messages. This is highly recommended just in case something goes wrong and you need to reset your phone.
      5. If you already have rooted your device, use Titanium Backup to back up all your important apps + system data. Also if you are using a custom recovery, it is recommended that you backup your current system using that first. [Just for the sake of safety.]
      6. Using TWRP Recovery, please make an EFS backup before you flash this ROM.
      7. For the best performance results, it is always recommend to wipe cache and factory data before installing this firmware. You can do so using the Wipe option in TWRP Recovery.
      8. Alright! Go ahead and flash the custom firmware, follow this guide to the letter.

Install Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean on HTC One X with InsertCoin Custom ROM

InsertCoin Custom ROMBased on sense 5, InsertCoin is another awesome custom ROM available around for HTC One X. HTC has recently updated it’s One X to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the update allowed the developers to evolve stock based custom ROMs, earlier we posted tutorials about MaximusHD and Android Revolution HD ROM for the One X, both these ROMs are based on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and pack up the best performance and stability and now it’s turn for InsetCoin ROM. InsertCoin ROM is quite similar to these, the ROM packs up a lot of cool features and no surprise, it’s stable.

In the following post we’ll be going through an explained guide to get this ROM running on HTC One X, So, if you’re a One X and looking out for a suitable operating system for your device, you may go ahead with us in the following post. Before you head towards the important instructions and pre-requisites, I highly recommend that you should go ahead only if you’re familiar with custom ROMs. Although it is a stable and nice custom ROM but still you got to know what you’re going to do actually so that it doesn’t become a pain at any stage.

Here are some important pre-requisites and instructions that you must keep in mind before installing Android Revolution HD:

        1. This ROM is only for HTC One X International. Do not try this on any other variants of HTC One X. Make sure to check your device’s model number under Settings > About Device > Hardware Info / Model Number.
        2. Make sure that your phone’s battery is charged over at least 80%. We highly recommend this in order to prevent any power issues during the flashing process.
        3. Your device must be running on latest Android 4.2.2. Jelly Bean. If it’s running on a lower version of Android, you may not install this ROM. This may result in bricking your device. You may update your device to Android 4.2.2 if it’s not already on 4.2.2,  and then flash this Insert Coin Custom ROM.
        4. Download and Install Android ADB & Fastboot Drivers on your PC. Follow the full guide here.
        5. Download and Install HTC Drivers on your phone. Get here.
        6. Your device’s bootloader must be unlocked. Unlock it here.
        7. Your device must have a custom recovery installed. Get it here.
