The Galaxy Note 4 is a pure beast. Once you get your hands on this device, you’re going to come across a plethora of features that won’t let you get your hands off from Samsung’s latest and the best iteration in the Galaxy Note series so far. While you’re checking out the cool features and making the best use of your Galaxy Note 4, you may worry about your device’s battery, that will be eaten up by certain applications and certain features of the device. Ordinarily, you will have to plug in the charger and then wait for hours and get your device charged and only then you will be able to continue what you were previously doing on your device, but waiting for a long time may kill the charm of using the device. It looks like Samsung doesn’t want the users to feel bad about the battery life and a right job has been done by Samsung in the Galaxy Note 4.

Galaxy Note 4 comes with a feature named as “Fast Charging Mode” and the device gets shipped with an Adaptive Fast Charger inside the box. The fast charging mode takes the device from 0 – 50% within half an hour and takes the battery to 100% in 1 hour. This feature happens to be pretty much handy when you’re running short of the time you need a quick boost to your device’s battery life. Giving it 1 hour having the charger plugged in won’t be a big deal. By default, the Fast Charging is enabled on the device and you will find it working when you plug in the charger for the very first time, but just in case you’ve got it disabled somehow and you now you don’t know from where you can enable it once again, you will have to locate it and activate it this little how that we just made in this on-going post.

How To Enable Fast Charging Mode On Galaxy Note 4

On your Galaxy Note 4 go to Settings.
In Settings, go to System.
Under System, tap “Power Saving”.
Under Power Saving the third option should be “Fast Charging”, check the little box in front of this option.
That’s it, you’ve enabled it now.
Now plug in the original data cable connected to the original charger.
Make sure that you’re using the original cable and original charger that shipped along with the phone, other wise you won’t find the fast charging mode working on your device. As soon as the cable is plugged in, a message will appear in the status bar saying “Fast charger connected”.

How To Install Windows 10 Technical Preview on Mac OS X.

Step 1: First you have to downloading Windows 10 Technical Preview and install it on Mac OS X.

Step 2: Download Parallels Desktop from your Mac from here.

Step 3: Download Windows 10 Technical Preview VM shell from here.

Now Extract the ZIP file to~/Documents/Parallels/, Now in the Parallels folder you’ll have Windows 10 TP VM shell file. Double click on the file and then click on Copied. Now follow the steps below.

1> After clicking on Copied, now click on select Don’t Change.

2> Now you’ll be in Preboot eXecution Environment screen, click on Action form the menu.

With the release of Android One devices, users who want to use a not-so-bad Android device, but don’t have enough budget to get a high-end or atleast a device which can get all the necessary and latest updates, can get a device which is not that bad in specs and sure to get every latest update of Android version for as long as the Hardware supports it. However, the problem is not the Official support because the Official support doesn’t let you go beyond the limits. If you want to use an Android you have to rely on the Custom development to get the best and extreme out of it and the very first step towards the custom development is the Bootloader unlocking. After that comes the Custom Recovery, then the Root access. Official TWRP recovery is now available for Micromax Canvas Magnus, which happens to be a part of Android One devices.

The installation method is made simple because of the official TWRP application, so all you need to do is to download and install the app, choose the right device and let the magic happen. In this Article, we will show you How to Install TWRP Recovery on Micromax Canvas Magnus A117, the process is not difficult at all, but still we are going to give step-by-step instructions on how to install it.

Early Preparations:

1. This is only for Micromax Canvas Magnus!

This custom ROM is only for the device mentioned above. Make sure that your model number matches the one listed above. Huawei HiSuite!

Navigate to settings of your device and Enable USB Debugging from Developers Options.
If you cannot see the developer Options in Settings, tap on build number 7 times (In About Phone in Settings)
Start Huawei HiSuite and connect your device with PC.
Huawei HiSuite will install a Deamon on P7.
Choose the connection mode on HiSuite.
Once everything is OK, disconnect the USB cable.

RootGenius!

Start the RootGenius as Admin.
Connect your device with PC.
Choose as you chose the connection mode in HiSuite.
Click Next in RootGenius.
After a few seconds, A7 will reboot and start the rooting process.
After the reboot, Rooted will be stated in the Bottom left corner.
In App drawer check Super SU to verify.

If you’re looking to disable it, this might be the right spot for you. Let’s go through the method now and learn how you can disable forced-encryption on your Google Nexus 6 running Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Here are some early preparations to begin with this process

1. This Guide Is Only For Google Nexus 6.

This custom ROM is only for the device mentioned above. Make sure that your model number matches the one listed above. To do so, go to Settings > About Device on your device and see your model number. Flashing a file on another device will result in bricking it.

2. Battery should be charged at least over 60%

Make sure that your battery is charged enough to complete the flashing process. In case your battery is low and your device goes dead during the flashing process, you may end up soft bricking your device as it won’t complete the flashing process.

3. Your Nexus 6’s Bootloader must be unlocked

You won’t be able to flash the boot.img if your Nexus 6’s bootloader is locked. You can unlock it using Wug’s Nexus Root Toolkit. You may also flash a custom recovery and root your Nexus 6 using the same Toolkit.

4. Install ADB & Fastboot

Android ADB & Fastboot are required for flashing the boot.img file through the command interface. You may follow our Minimal ADB & Fastboot guide in order to install the ADB & Fastboot drivers quickly.

5. Backup everything!

Just to be on the safe side, you may consider backing up each and everything from your Android device. This is highly recommended so that in case anything goes wrong, you still have the access to all of your data and you can restore it immediately. You may backup everything as listed below.

Backup Media – Copy your files manually to your PC or Laptop.
Titanium Backup – If already rooted, use Titanium Backup to backup all of your apps, system data and other important content.
Backup Nandroid – You can do this using CWM/TWRP recovery.

How To Disable Forced Encryption On Google Nexus 6

Download the modified boot_noforceencrypt.img file for LRX210 build. Link
Rename the downloaded file to only “boot.img” in order to make it easy for yourself.
Now copy the renamed boot.img file in Minimal ADB & Fastboot folder that should be located under program files in your Windows installation disk.
Open the Minimal ADB & Fastboot.exe file from your desktop. It should open up the command interface.
Now put reboot your Nexus 6 into bootloader mode. To do so, turn off your device completely. Now turn it on by pressing and holding Volume Down + Power Key, your phone’s screen will light up showing the Android logo.
If this doesn’t work, simply connect your Nexus 6 to your PC and in the Minimal ADB & Fastboot command interface, type “adb reboot bootloader“
Once in bootloader mode, enter the following commands in the Minimal ADB & Fastboot interface.
1. fastboot flash boot boot.img
2. fastboot reboot
This will flash the boot.img file and also reboot your device once done. That’s all.

Phewww! You’re done. Your device won’t enable force enryption feature anymore, but you can still enable the encryption from Settings > Security if you want.
