There are only a few applications which are working for calculating Individual States of Pokemon characters in Pokemon Go. GoIV is one of those working applications. Like other Pokemon Go assistant applications, GoIV isn’t available in the Google Play Store as well. The only way to install GoIV maybe by through its APK file. While we’ve already posted the APK file of GoIV, it’s the time for us to introduce all the Pokemasters to the method to install GoIV on their desktop computers and laptops.

GoIV for PC can be easily installed and used on a desktop PC/Laptop running Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10 or even a Mac OS X powered device. You will need an Android emulator like BlueStacks, BlueStacks 2, Andy OS or Remix OS to run GoIV on your computer. Once you’ve installed GoIV, all you will have to do is to follow the on-screen instructions and enter the required values to calculate the IV value of your Pokemon.

The newest version of Odin, the version 3.12.3 is now available which takes over the previous version v3.11.1. The new version of Odin brings some improvements including a fix for the flashing error that occurred on the Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge. The new version also brings support for latest devices which just came out including the Galaxy Note 7 and others. In case you don’t already know about Odin, you may be interested in knowing that it is Samsung’s official tool for manually flashing firmware and files on your Samsung Galaxy handsets. Odin can flash Bootloaders, Modems, CSC files, Firmware files, Recovery files and Root files on your Samsung Galaxy.

Odin’s most common uses include flashing a stock firmware to recover your device from a bricked state or simply flashing firmware to upgrade it manually when the OTA doesn’t reach your region on time. One of the most popular uses Odin is the flashing of CF-Autoroot files which are available for hundreds of Samsung Galaxy phones and root the phone within a few clicks. The latest version of Odin brings more stability and flashes the files flawlessly. You can download the latest Odin 3.12.3 from here now.

The formats supported by Odin are *.bin, *.tar & *tar.md5. The firmware files usually come in *.tar.md5 format, you can apply these files using the PDA button in Odin. Once you have done setting up odin according to your requirements, you need to press the ”Start” button and start the flashing process, as soon as the process is finished, your device will restart automatically and you will see a ”Pass” notification on a green background on the top left corner. Download Odin 3.11.1 for Samsung Galaxy devices. Odin 3.11.1 supports all phones running on Android 9 Pie and prior.

Odin is Samsung’s flashtool which helps Samsung Galaxy users to flash stock firmware, bootloaders, modems and other such files on their smartphones. The Odin is pretty much of a handy tool particularly when a software bug has bricked your device and you are unable to recover it using Samsung Kies.

What’s the use of Odin?

Samsung’s Odin can be used to flash a stock firmware to restore your device back to its factory state, to unroot the device to remove any kind of customization that you have applied. This tool has been around ever since Samsung produced the very first Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

With the evolution of Samsung Galaxy lineup, the Odin software also improved. The software was made compatible with the latest devices with time, the bugs were fixed and its performance was also enhanced. With the arrival of new Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, a new version of Odin came out which succeeded the version 3.10.7.

The new version carries the version number Odin3 v3.11.1. As mentioned, it is compatible with almost all new Samsung Galaxy smartphones and also fixes some flashing bugs which were caught on the previous versions. You can now download the latest Odin 3.11.1 from here.

Install Dr.Ketan ROM on Galaxy Note 5 and get all Note 7 features

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 brought a lot of goodies on-board. Apart from equipping the up-to-date and top-notch hardware, Samsung improved the software up to a great extent as well. The Galaxy Note 7 brings a new enhanced TouchWiz UI. A new Air Command has made its way for the S Pen. The new S Note application is way cool. Gallery application has been revamped, there’s a new UI for the settings application and the entire System UI has been revamped as well. Galaxy Note 5 users looking forward to upgrading to the Galaxy Note 7 just for the sake of these features might want to wait for a while. The software of the Galaxy Note 7 has already been ported to the Galaxy Note 5, that means you can already get your hands on all the new cool stuff without upgrading your device and spending a thousand bucks.

The ROM has been ported by our friend Dr Ketan. Dr.Ketan’s ROM for the Galaxy Note 5 incorporates plethora of features which makes the device a power-hub. The new Note 7 port ROM still incorporates all those features running the new UI on the top. The ROM is based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Grace UX N920KKKU2ZPG5. The new Note 7 Port ROM can be installed on Samsung Galaxy Note 5 N920I, N920G and N920C. I myself have consistently remained a user of the Dr.Ketan ROM starting from the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, then Galaxy Note 4 and at the moment Galaxy Note 5 and found it to be the best replacement for the stock firmware of Note. The ROM gives you a complete control over its features. You can choose the features you wish to install and enable and leave others untouched. Apart from the features, the performance and stability are the two things that you will find great in this ROM. Early Preparations

This ROM will work for Galaxy Note 5 N920I, N920C and N920G only. Do not try this on any other device or else you will result in bricking it.
Charge your Note 5 up to 50% to avoid power issues during flashing process.
Enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlocking on your Galaxy Note 5.
Backup EFS partition. This is important in order to avoid EFS corruption later on.
Backup your media content, important call logs, contacts and sms messages as well.
If you already have a TWRP recovery installed, backup Nandroid. Otherwise backup Nandroid before flashing the ROM using TWRP recovery.
Turn off/close Samsung Kies in your computer since we are going to use Odin3.
Turn off Firewall/Antivirus if you have enabled.
Follow this guide to the letter to avoid any mishap during the entire process.

How to Install Dr.Ketan ROM on Galaxy Note 5 and get all Note 7 features

Download Samsung USB drivers and install them.
Download Odin 3.10.6 and extract it to get Odin.exe file.
Now download the Bootloader and Modem.zip file according to your Note 5.
Extract the downloaded .zip file to get the .tar/md5 file now.
Download N920 Dr.Ketan custom ROM M12_XDA_N7 Port.zip file and copy it to your phone’s internal storage or a USB OTG if you have one.
Now put your Galaxy Note 5 in download mode. To do so, turn it off and then turn it on by pressing and holding Volume Down + Power + Home Key. Once booted up, press Volume Up to continue into download mode.
Connect your Galaxy Note 5 to your PC now.
Open Odin.exe now. Odin should show a blue light over the ID:COM box as an indication of successful connection and also show “Added” in the log on the left.
Uncheck the “Auto-Reboot” option under the “Options” tab in Odin. The only selected option should be F.Reset Time.
Now click on “AP” tab in Odin and select the Bootloader_Modem.tar/md5 file that you got for your device after extracting the zip file in step 3 & 4.
Once the file has been selected in Odin, flash it.
After the file has been flashed, Turn off your device by pressing and holding Volume Up + Down + Power key.
Now boot your device into TWRP recovery mode. To do so, press and hold Volume Up + Home + Power Key. TWRP was flashed alongside the Bootloader and Modem, so your phone will now boot up into the recovery.
In recovery, select “Install > Locate the ROM.zip file that you copied in step 5″. Select the ROM.zip file to begin flashing.
As AROMA installer opens up, select the options/tweaks that you want on the ROM and follow on-screen instructions to flash the ROM.
Upon finishing installation, reboot your device. First boot can take up to 10 minutes.
Once the phone boots up, you will have the new Note 7 UI running on it. That’s all.
