Here is a list of device which will receive the Nougat update before the first half of 2017:
- Galaxy S6
- Galaxy S6 Edge
- Galaxy S6 Edge Plus
- Galaxy Note 5
- Galaxy Tab A with S Pen
- Galaxy Tab 2
- Galaxy A3
The rest of the devices which include the Galaxy J and smartphones from Galaxy A line are missing. The Nougat update will be rolled out to them in the second half of the year. With the Android 7.0 updates, Samsung has added some new features like enhanced video quality, notification settings, putting apps to sleep, improved application interface and improved multi-window to name a few. The Nougat update has focused on improving battery life and optimizing the performance of the devices there by giving users an amazing experience.
