How to Install Android 4.4 KitKat OmniROM on Galaxy Note GT-N7000:
- Download Android 4.4 OmniROM.zip file for Galaxy Note GT-N7000.
- Download Gapps.zip file for Android 4.4 KitKat.
- Copy both the downloaded .zip files to your phone’s internal or external sd card.
- Boot into CWM recovery. To do so, turn off your device completely, now turn it on by pressing and holding Volume Up + Home Button + Power Key.
- Wipe cache, and dalvik cache from advanced options under CWM.
- Now in CWM Recovery select Install zip > Choose zip from SD/ext SD card > Select Android 4.4 OmniROM.zip file that you placed on your phone.
- Select “Yes” and let it flash the ROM, as soon as the ROM installation is done, get back to the CWM main menu.
- Once again select “Install Zip > Choose Zip from SD/ext SD card > Select Gapps.zip file” that you downloaded and placed on your phone along with the ROM.zip file.
- As soon as the Gapps.zip file installation is done, reboot your device.
- You should see the OmniROM screen now.
- Phewwww! That’s all. Enjoy Android 4.4 KitKat unofficially on your device.
Just in case something goes wrong with the newly installed custom ROM, you can immediately go back to your older system if you have backed up using CWM recovery, or you can simply flash a stock firmware using our detailed guide here.

at Step 6- When I select the file form from microSD card .. i get Status 7 error. 🙁
@ravindrajoisa:disqus try changing the location of the file. E.G place it on phone memory and then try flashing the ROM.
No u are wrong. That error tells you to update your cwm. He didnt update it. He just found the right one to his kernel version. He has to update it
