Heed the Instructions below in order to get rid of Picasa sign-in request. This method is only for devices running Android Jelly Bean or lower OS.
How to get rid of Picasa Sign-in Request:
Step1: Open Settings on your device.
Step2: Look for Accounts in the Settings.
Step3: Tap on your Google Accounts, then tap on your Gmail account.
Step4: Here you’ll see all the Sync options. Scroll down and look for Picasa.
Step5: Uncheck the button against Picasa. This will stop the auto sync.
Step6: Head back to the settings.
Step7: Tap on Application manager.
Step8: In Application tab, scroll to the left. Select All.
Step9: Scroll down and look for Gallery.
Step10: Tap on Gallery -> Clear Cache.
That’s all. Now when you will open the Gallery you’ll only see the local photos and videos. Now if you want to disable auto sync for Facebook and DropBox. You can do it by repeating the same process, but you have to select Facebook and Dropbox instead of Google Accounts.
