Sync Contacts with Gmail

1. On your Android phone, go to Setings > Cloud and Accounts > Accounts. On some devices, you will simply go to Settings > Accounts.
2. In Accounts, tap Google > tap the Gmail address you are using on your Android phone.
3. Now in the account sync options, find “Sync Contacts“.
4. If the sync radio button is turned off, turn it on. If you want to re-sync the contacts, turn the button off and turn it on again. That’s all.

How to move contacts to Gmail Account on Android

1. Open contacts application on your phone.
2. Now open options in the Contacts application.
3. Under options, find Move Device Contacts.
4. Tap Move Device Contacts > Select your Gmail account.
5. It will move all your contacts to your Gmail now.
6. You can view all of your contacts on contacts.google.com now.
