The Android Pie update for Samsung phones is the biggest update to date. This update carries cosmetical changes, bug fixes, battery and performance improvements, and the best part is the addition of some new useful features.
As far as the cosmetics are concerned, the update brings One UI. As the name says, this UI is supposed to make the phone more useful with a single hand. Samsung has added big banners/cards in all apps which push the menu and other elements down the display to make accessible for single-hand usage.
The One UI has its own new launcher. It makes the icons rounded. The toggles area has been revamped. Notifications panel has some new icons. Samsung has changed the place of clock/date in the status bar of the phone. Some settings have shifted under a new menu.
The settings application of the phone has been overhauled completely. New icons can be seen for all the options. Some new options such as Adaptive battery can be seen in the settings too. Samsung has also changed the About Phone section.
Android Pie brings the Dark Mode aka Night Mode in Galaxy Phones. It also has the native private DNS support.
