Clear the Cache of your phone

  1. Turn off your phone.
  2. Now turn it on by pressing and holding Bixby + Volume Up + Power Button.
  3. Your phone will not boot into the recovery mode.
  4. Use Volume Down to highlight Wipe cache partition and press Power Button to perform an action.
  5. Once you see “Yes”, wipe the cache.
  6. Reboot your phone. Check the screen now.

Perform a hard reset

  1. Turn off your phone.
  2. Now turn it on by pressing and holding Bixby + Volume Up + Power Button.
  3. Your phone will not take you to the stock recovery. You will see different options here.
  4. Use Volume Down to highlight factory data reset and press Power Button to perform an action.
  5. Once you see “Yes”, wipe the cache.
  6. Reboot your phone. Check the screen now.

Increase Touchscreen Sensitivity

  1. On your Galaxy S9 or S9 Plus, go to Settings.
  2. In Settings > General Maintenance > Language and Input.
  3. Scroll all the way down and find Pointer Speed.
  4. Now increase the Pointer Speed and check out the dead areas of the screen if they work again or not.
