Preparations
- This guide is only for the Exynos Galaxy S9 Plus.
- Charge your phone’s battery up to 50% to avoid power loss during the installation process.
- Backup each and everything from your Galaxy S9 Plus.
- Install TWRP custom recovery on the Galaxy S9 Plus.
- Follow the remaining steps carefully.
Required downloads
- PixelExperienceP-arm64-aonly.zip
- Extract the file to get the ROM.img file.
- Copy the ROM.img file to your phone’s internal or external storage.
Installing Galaxy S9 Plus Pixel Experience Android Pie
- Power down your Galaxy S9 Plus.
- Press and hold Volume Up + Bixby + Power button to boot into TWRP custom recovery.
- In TWRP, click on Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Select Cache, Dalvik Cache, System, and Data > Swipe to wipe.
- Now go back to the main menu in TWRP and click on Install > Install Image > Select the Image file > Swipe to wipe.
- Reboot your phone into the system now.
- Check the new Pixel Experience ROM based on Android Pie. That’s all.
