A Forbes report in collaboration with smartphone case maker Ghostek have decided to show the world what the Galaxy S9 could look like. We have agreed before that the Infinity Display looks great on the flagship but if there are going to be no distinguishable features between the upcoming phone and the Galaxy S8, customers might start looking at the Galaxy S9+ as a potential flagship phone upgrade.

The only thing changed about the Galaxy S9 will be its internals and the position of the fingerprint reader, which you can clearly see in these renders. If you want to know the remainder of the specifications, an HTMl5 test revealed that the aspect ratio of the phone will be 18.5:9, so there might not be a change to the resolution either.

If you are looking to buy Galaxy S9+ instead, that will be a great option because a Geekbench benchmarking result shows not just a Snapdragon 845, but also 6GB of RAM, which is the same amount present in the Galaxy Note 8.

In comparison, the Galaxy S9 has been rumored to come with just 4GB of RAM, so you already have a reason to upgrade to the bigger screen flagship. The sad part about this news is that the fingerprint scanner is still going to be present at the back but since it will be located below the camera lens, the average user will easily be able to access the scanner.

The design might not be the most encouraging thing about the Galaxy S9+ because earlier leaked renders provided a hint at the design of the Galaxy S9+. Design for some buyers might not be important but it does happen to be the basis on which people make their purchases nowadays.
