Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro launching in India on 18th January

Samsung will be launching the C9 Pro in India on the 18th of January. The C9 Pro has already been launched in the Chinese market and now it is making its way to India. After India, it will be ready to be launched in Thailand, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Vietnam in the coming months. As the C9 Pro is at the high end of the mid range device, it will be optimal for the Asian markets where people are looking for good specs at a lower price point. Samsung has a strategy of targeting the Asian markets through mid range smartphones with good specs.

The Samsung C9 Pro has a 6-inch Full HD display. the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 653 processor, 6 GB RAM and a 64 GB of internal storage. The smartphone will have a whooping 16MP main and front facing camera. It seems that the multimedia is the focus for the C9 Pro. It will also have a USB-C type port, a finger print scanner and will be powered by a 4,000 mAh battery. Before hand there were reports that C9 Pro was going to be exclusive to China, but the news out today suggests that other markets will get to see this nifty device from Samsung soon.
