LG Q8 2018 launched with 6.2″ Display, SD 450, and 4GB RAM

LG announced a successor of its Q8 smartphone today. The new Q8 2018 comes with improved specifications and impressive design. The LG Q8 2018 is said to be a cheap alternative of the LG V35 ThinQ. This new phone by the South Korean giant has some notable features.LG Q8 2018

LG Q8 2018 has a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display. It has full HD resolution. The screen-to-body ratio is 18:9 which means this is also an all display phone. New LG Q8’s dimensions are 160.1 x 77.7 x 8.4 mm and it the device weighs at 172 grams. It comes with IP68 certification which means this phone is water and dust resistant. LG Q8 2018 also happens to be MIL-STD-810G compliant.

On the CPU end, the LG Q8 2018 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 CPU clocked at 1.8 GHz. The internal storage of this phone is 64 GB accompanied by a RAM of 4 GB. It also supports external SD cards up to 2 TB as per LG says. As far as the cameras are concerned, LG isn’t following the trend of dual shooters here. The Q8 2018 has a single 16 MP shooter at the back and a 5 MP shooter on the front.

Like most of the phones, this phone also makes the use of USB Type-C for connectivity. Since the headphone jack has now become a feature, the Q8 2018 does have this feature. Q8 2018 has DTS:X 3D surround sound system and Hi-Fi Quad DAC as well.  The Q8 also has a stylus to pull an artist out of the users.LG Q8 2018

LG will offer this phone on Aroma Black and Moroccan Blue colors. The phone will cost around $480. Overall, the LG Q8 2018 looks like a good phone, but the camera is where this phone really disappoints.
