HMD Global is trying its best to completely revive the Nokia brand. Right after acquiring Nokia, HMD Global rolled out some really nice Android handsets. So far, the company has released a handful of Android handsets. Nokia’s Android-based smartphones have their software very close to vanilla Android. The phones are coming with up-to-date hardware and they also run on latest version of Android. Nokia’s phones are also the fastest to get the latest Android update.

Last year, Nokia released the Nokia 7, which was a mid-range smartphone. Nokia 7 came with a 5.2-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Nokia 7 was powered by Snapdragon 630 CPU accompanied by Adreno 506 GPU. A RAM of 4GB or 6GB was there with the internal storage of 64GB. At the back, this phone has a 16MP shooter. For selfies, it has a 5MP shooter on the front. There’s a whopping 3000 mAh battery placed under the hood. The Nokia 7 ran on android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. The phone was updated to Android Oreo later on.

To keep the Nokia 7 series alive, Nokia released the Nokia 7 Plus this year. The Nokia 7 Plus is a bigger variant following the likes of the original Nokia 7. The Nokia 7 Plus comes with a 6.0-inch IPS LCD display. It has a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels which is slightly better than the Nokia 7. Nokia 8 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 CPU. The GPU is Adreno 512. Nokia 7 Plus has a 12MP Dual Camera setup at its back. On the front, this phone has a 16MP camera. Nokia 7 Plus ran on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. This phone has a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The option to expand its storage is also there. Nokia 7 Plus has a 3800 mAh battery under the hood.
