Instagram now allows you to save your your Live Stories on your phone. This feature was already available on Facebook, and now Instagram has also rolled this update, giving users the option of saving their live videos.
As soon as the broadcast end, you will be able to see the Save button in the upper right corner. Tap the button and save the video. Unlike Facebook videos, you will not be able to save the comments, likes and any other interaction with viewers. Only the video will be saved in your smartphone for you to review later on.
Along with that the Live Stories will disappear as soon as you end the broadcast. Right now you don’t have the option of broadcasting and showing old broadcasts on your Instagram page. We don’t think so that this is a feature that the company will roll as there should be a differentiation in what Facebook offers and what Instagram offers.
The new feature is available with Instagram 10.2 to both Android and iOS users. If you don’t see the feature yet, just update the app and start saving your interactions.
