  • what ! do i stuped to return to 4.4.2 !? i wait for kingroot app new update and them root my phone without any problem that way is so hard and soo worst

  • Thanks for this very details and step by step in rooting Xperia Z model C6602 and C6603. Also wanted to know if this way supports all kind of Xperia phone. I am having this Xperia M4 Aqua and until now. Please let me know it support via pm or response in this comment.

    • @disqus_XfcLzqvPUo:disqus this method is particularly for Xperia Z. I will have a look on the status of M4 Aqua and update you in a day or two. Stay connected :)

        • Hi im also on jelly bean 4.2.2, rooted and installed cwm, can I flash directly to 5.1.1 without flashing kitkat. 4.4.4? And if so, is it required to wipe system and cache? And is it only compatible in flashing using twrp ? Thanks

          • @sammerbanawa:disqus Flash the Pre-Rooted Lollipop straight away. Your device will be updated :) After flashing wipe cache and dalvik cache. Also perform a factor reset prior to flashing the Lollipop firmware. Good Luck.

  • @EnriqueIglesias1:disqus Simply flash old FTF i.e. .283 FTF on your Xperia Z. The guides are already available on our site. Please use the search option to locate them :)

  • Hey, So i flashed the .283 on my c6602 and it's been stuck in a bootloop ever since then. Is there any workaround solution to this?

    • @ass6ash:disqus Flash .283 once again properly and see if your phone boots up or not. If it doesn't, then flash .222 and recover your phone.

      • Thanks for the reply. I tried .222 but it still ended up bootlooping. So I flashed to .454 (Lollipop 5.0.2), rooted using Kingroot, replaced kinguser with SuperSu by using SuperSu-Me app, then I installed TWRP and used your pre-rooted 5.1.1 lollipop ftf. Working all right now! :)

  • Hi all, I'm having a problem flashing the pre-rooted firmware in CWM recovery. I shows:

    Finding update package...
    Opening update package...
    Installing update...

    Install from sdcard complete...
This takes a few seconds and than stops.

Is CWM and this pre-rooted firmware incompatible or is there something missing in the firmware package?
    Please help.

    Thank you

    Marco

  • hello... my xperia z is still in jelly bean... can i skip step 1 and just install twrp and cwm and flash your pre-rooted firmware ??? my current jelly bean is rooted ...

    • The device model number is C6603. But I managed the problem by flashing the unrooted firmware, unlocking the bootloader and installing TWRP and SuperSU. I decided to unlock the BL as there is no warranty on the device.
Thank you for your help and also for all your guides.
      Marco

  • @hitmansnip:disqus You can backup and restore data like contacts, call logs, sms messages and media content without root using different applications in play store, but you cannot restore application data or system data without root access.

  • The pre rooted ftf for c6602 is not available where to download im stuck reply soon .

the updated download link is available but it uses flashtool then what is the use of recovery ?

can flashing be done instead of going to recovery reply ASAP
and is the updated one is rooted ?
