      • Thanks for the reply. I tried .222 but it still ended up bootlooping. So I flashed to .454 (Lollipop 5.0.2), rooted using Kingroot, replaced kinguser with SuperSu by using SuperSu-Me app, then I installed TWRP and used your pre-rooted 5.1.1 lollipop ftf. Working all right now! 🙂

  3. Hi all, I’m having a problem flashing the pre-rooted firmware in CWM recovery. I shows:

    Finding update package…
    Opening update package…
    Installing update…

    Install from sdcard complete…
This takes a few seconds and than stops.

Is CWM and this pre-rooted firmware incompatible or is there something missing in the firmware package?
    Please help.

    Thank you

    Marco

  4. hello… my xperia z is still in jelly bean… can i skip step 1 and just install twrp and cwm and flash your pre-rooted firmware ??? my current jelly bean is rooted …

    • The device model number is C6603. But I managed the problem by flashing the unrooted firmware, unlocking the bootloader and installing TWRP and SuperSU. I decided to unlock the BL as there is no warranty on the device.
Thank you for your help and also for all your guides.
