Companies are gearing up for the MWC 2017. Lenovo and Motorola have already rolled out invitation for their event on 26th February. New Moto phones will be unveiled at the event. Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus are expected to be announced at the event, along with some Moto Mods. A few days ago the specs of Moto G5 Plus leaked, now TechnoBlog, a Brazilian website have found information onĀ Moto G5 XT1672 which was listed in the database of a retailer.
Moto G5 is expected to sport a 5-inch 1080p display. Under the hood, it will be equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor and an Adreno 505 GPU. The device will have 2GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage and will sport a 13MP main and 5MP front facing camera. Moto G5 will be powered by a 2800 mAh battery and will run Android Nougat right out of the box.
As no images of the Moto G5 leaked, we can speculate that it will look similar to the Moto G5 Plus but smaller. As Moto G5 Plus will have a 5.5-inch display and Moto G5 a relatively smaller 5-inch display. As far as the price goes, we can expect it to be similar to Moto G4 which retailed at $199. Moto G5 is expected to arrive in the markets in March and with the MWC event just a few weeks to go, more leaks will be popping up in the coming days.
