Nokia 3310 with 4G connectivity? Is this too good to be true?

HMD Global and Nokia both made quite an impression last year when the companies released the Nokia 3310, which initially featured a 2G modem. However, a 3G modem version was introduced later down the road because the 2G version would not work on all networks, meaning that in some countries, it would not work at all. Now, it would come as no surprise that HMD Global is planning to release a 4G version of the Nokia 3310.

Nokia 3310 with 4G connectivity? Is this too good to be true?

With 4G connectivity transitioning to 5G in the future, this is perhaps one of the best decisions taken by the company. According to an image taken from TENAA, the Chinese regulatory commission, it gives us suggestions that a Nokia 3310 might actually get a 4G connectivity model in the future.

Looking at the image, we cannot believe that the upcoming phone will have any differences when it comes to the design, hardware and other specifications, other than the inclusion of a 4G modem and perhaps a higher price tag. The 3G-capable Nokia 3310 was launched in America for the price of $60, but if there is a 4G variant, then we might see a higher price for this.

Also, bear in mind that you will not be able to experience the same battery life on the 4G-capable version of the feature phone since 4G chews more battery life than 3G or 2G. Since it belongs to the category of feature phones, it could be priced below $100.

Will you buy one if such a model is released?
