Meizi is all set to pull the curtains off from its 16 and 16 Plus smartphones today. Just before the phones go official, they have visited the GeekBench and the benchmark score is up now. The Meizi 16 has posted a score of 2403 for a single core and 9047 for mutli-score. The multi-core score of the Meizu 16 is quite impressive. It is suggested that the phone has posted this impressive score because of the copper heat pipe keeping the CPU cool and calm.
The benchmark also reveals the phone to have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU and A RAM of 8GB. Earlier, it was reported that the phone will have a 6GB of RAM. There were rumors that the Snapdragon 845 CPU will be available only in the high-end variant of the Meizu 16 which is the Meizu 16 Plus. The Meizu 16 was rumored to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 CPU. However, the TENAA listing that came out a few days back suggests both the variants to use the same chipset. So, if the both the Meizu phones are using the Snapdragon 845 CPU, then the difference can be in the RAM and internal storage department. There is the possibility that the phone visiting GeekBench is the Meizu 16 Plus as it has an 8GB RAM.
According to the previous information, the internal storage of the upcoming Meizu 16 phones is said to be 128 GB or 64 GB having an 8 GB, 6 GB, or a 4 GB RAM. The Meizu 16 will have a 6.0-inch full HD display and the Meizu 16 Plus will have a 6.5-inch QHD display. Both the phones will run on Android Oreo out of the box. These phones will have a dual-shooter at the back containing a sensor of 16 MP and 20 MP. On the front, these phones will have a 20 MP shooter. Meizu 16 will have a 2,950 mAh battery and Meizu 16 Plus will have a 3,570 mAh battery.
