Instagram: Create Story Highlights

Here’s How you can create Story Highlights on your Instagram. Highlights is the latest features added by Instagram. It’s more like the Facebook feature albums but who cares. Now you don’t have worry about your story will be removed after 24 hours. Because of Instagram highlights all of you stories will remain in Archive. You can add more than one highlights and also you can give them titles.

Instagram also released a new update which helps you Archive your stories. Moreover, you can also archive your post too. Since Archive is the new feature and it’s rolling out if you didn’t get the Archive feature. You need to update your Instagram app. Archive feature is turned on by default. You don’t have to navigate through settings. However, in order to turn it off, you have to do it through settings.

Now let’s start the method to tell you how you can create Story Highlights on Instagram.

Instagram: Create Story Highlights:

There are two ways to create story highlights. One is a quick way and other is using Archive. We’ll explain both below. Keep in mind that Archive method is a bit long and other is quick and simple.

Method1: Using Camera:

Open Instagram on your Android or iOS. Tap on your profile pic.

Take the Photos you want to add to your story as shown below. Once added, Tap on your Story -> Tap on highlight icon covered in red. You’ll see a new page, here you have to Title to your Highlight and then Click Add.

Method2: Using Archive:

Open Instagram, click on the button located at the top right side of the screen as shown below.

You’ll be in your Archives. Here you’ll see all your stories and posts which are archived. Select the one you want to add to your highlights.
Once you are in the archive, click on the 3dots located at the top right side of your screen. Select Create Highlight.
Now you have to select the photos you want to add to highlight.
Next, you have to add the title to you highlight. That’s all.
