1: The solution for the DF-BPA-30 Play Store error is the same as listed in the previous heading. Follows its steps 1-4 to fix it.

It is another one of the errors related to servers. However, the RPC:aec:0 error is fixed by clearing the cache of the device.
1: Enter stock or custom recovery of your phone. For Samsung, turn off the phone, press and hold Volume down + Home + Power keys until you get the vibration and see the recovery screen. Use the volume keys to navigate and the power button to select the “Wipe cache partition” option.
The method for entering recovery mode is different for all manufacturers. Therefore, you have to find the specific method for yourself or ask us in the comments below.
2: Alternatively, go to Settings > Storage > Management > Cache > Clear Cache. This is kind of an alternative for those who cannot access stock recovery. However, this option may not be available on all devices. The recovery option is available for all.
The Google account on the device is the main culprit for this bug. To fix this, you need to remove and re-add the account.
1: Go to Settings > Accounts > Google > Gmail ID > menu button > Remove account.
Note that some users may not be able to pull this off because of having only one logged in the account on the device. To solve this issue, add a temporary account, remove the main account, restart the device, add the main account, and open the Play Store. In-Play Store, select the main account from the menu.
This error is only due to some bugs in the Play Store error. It is rare and it affects selected accounts only. The error message would read something like “error retrieving information from server”.
Unfortunately, there is nothing a user can do to fix this. Since it is an error at Play Store’s end, it would recover in some time itself. However, you can try clearing the cache of Play Services, Google services Frameworks, and Play Store itself. Additionally, try removing and re-adding the Google account. Do not factory reset the phone as it will not help.
As the title suggests, this particular error message pops up when trying to redeem the gift code of Play Store gift card/credit card. BM-GVHD-06 error is showing up in a few countries only. It has something to do with the account information.
1: Go to Settings > General Management > Date and Time. Check your timezone and make sure it is set correctly.
2: Wipe the cache of 3 apps using this method: Settings > Apps > show system app/All > [App Name] > Storage > Clear Cache.
The apps are 1: Google Play Store, 2: Google Play Services, and 3: Google Services Framework.
3: Remove and re-add your Google account. If there is only one account, then you may not be able to remove it. Add a 2nd dummy account to remove the main account.
The error message for RPC: s-3 states “Error retrieving information from server”. What this means is that client and server-side cannot exchange messages successfully. It is mainly due to some wrong configuration at the user’s device. It is not sending the appropriate information to the server to get the desired results.
1: Follow the same steps as the previous error in this list.
2: Additionally, try uninstalling updates for Play Store and installing it again. Settings > Apps > Google Play Store > menu > Uninstall Updates. Restart the phone/tablet and install the latest update again.
3: In case you are using custom GApps for a custom ROM, delete the current Play Store, and install the latest APK manually.
This is one of the MOST common Play Store errors. It seems to plague every Android OS version out there. It is caused by many issues therefore it is hard to brief it. You can find a detailed guide of solutions for this particular error below.
Read Guide to fix download pending issue in Play Store – HERE
This error can also be shown as “Error retrieving information from server”. This particular error shows up when the phone and Play Store server cannot exchange information. You can try two solutions to fix this.
1: Remove and re-add the main Google account. You may need to add a dummy account to remove the main one.
2: Clear cache of services framework from Settings > Apps > show system apps > Google services framework > Storage > Clear Cache.
When the error statement is “Google Play authentication required” then it is pretty easy to understand the situation. The account on your device is malfunctioning with system files. Therefore, it is no longer providing correct authentication details to the Play Store server. To fix this issue, follow the steps given below.
1: Remove and re-add the Google account. You may need to add a temp account to remove the main account. It should reset the credentials.
2: If method 1 does not work, clear cache of Play Store, Play Services, Google Services Framework from Settings > Apps > All/show system Apps > [App Name] > Storage > Clear Cache.
3: Uninstall the update of the Play Store app and re-install it. Settings > Apps > Google Play Store > menu button > Uninstall updates. Restart the phone and re-install updates.
In case of using the Play Store as either a non-system app or as part of custom ROM/GApps, update it manually using the latest APK. Make sure to uninstall the previous version if possible.
The package file here means the installation file of the app that you’re trying to install. The error message states ” Package file invalid”. This error pops when the download is complete and installation is starting. Therefore, this means that Play Store can probably not verify the package signature and therefore it is not installing. It happens due to bad errors in cache and memory.
1: Try installing the app from the Play Store site. Go there, log in with the same Google account as phone/tablet, and then initiate install from here.
2: Try removing and re-adding Google account. Use a dummy account as an alternative if the main account is refusing to get removed.
3: Clear the cache of Play Store from Settings > Apps > Google Play Store > Storage > Clear Cache.
4: If the error pops up when updating an app, try uninstalling the old version and installing it fresh from Play Store.
It is one of the vaguest Play Store messages. This message shows up even before you can tap install. It has two main reasons. 1: The app developer has not specified your phone/tablet’s model in a list of supported devices. 2: The Android version of your device is older than what the app is compatible with. 3: It is not available in your region.
There is no actual fix for this. However, if someone is getting this message only because that particular app is not available in their region, then follow this. Note that, you can verify this reason if the app does not show up in search results of the Play Store but it does if you use it with a VPN of another country.
Just download and install the APK of that app or game from a third-party source. Note that this is not a reliable solution as Geo-locked applications may not even after installing manually. It is always a hit-or-miss.
If you think that the “App is not compatible with your device” message is showing wrongfully, then try removing and re-adding your Google account. It may fix the bug.
This long list of Play Store errors and their fixes contains all possible solutions. However, the actual reasons for some of these bugs are vaguely explained. Therefore, if you are still facing any issue, feel free to contact us in the comments section below.
Moreover, some of the bugs are just Play Store outages and users cannot do anything about these. In this case, contact Google Customer support and confirm if there is something like this going on.
