1. Go to the Zeranoe FFMPEG page.
2. Select your Windows architecture i.e. 32-bit or 64-bit.
3. Select “Static” linking.
4. Click on Download.
5. FFMPEG will be downloaded in the form of a zip file.

How to install FFMPEG on Windows

1. Extract the zip file, rename the extracted folder to FFMPEG only.
2. Open the FFMPEG folder > bin > Copy the path of this folder.
3. Now go to the start menu > type “env” > edit the system environment variables.
4. Click on Environment Variables.
5. Click on Path > Edit > New > Paste your FFmpeg bin location that you just copied.
6. Now within the System Variables, check the PATHEXT and make sure .exe is added there. If it’s not there, add it just like other variables are added.
7. Open a command window on the PC now.
8. Type “FFmpeg” and hit enter.
9. You will get the FFmpeg version details pointing towards a successful installation.
