Step1: First of all, you need to turn off the auto lock feature. Because it will make things harder if we left it enabled. It’s easy, head over to the Settings -> Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock. Make sure your battery is charged and you are not running your device on low power mode.
Step2: You will also require the latest versions of both Chimera A12 or the unc0ver iOS 12 jailbreak app. You can download the latest versions from our homepage or I will share the link at the end of this post.
Step3: Now if you have uncover iOS 12.1.2 jailbreak app. Open the app, Head over to the settings and scroll, look for “Restore RootFS (rec0ver)“. Once you do Tap on it. Same goes for Chimera jailbreak app but for Chimera, you have to restart your device once and then Tap on “Restore RootFS“.
Step4: After selecting “Restore RootFS“, head back to the main screen of the app and Tap on Re-Jailbreak / Jailbreak / Restore Filesystem.
Step5: Now let the app do its work. When prompted, tap “Ok”. This process may take 15 to 20 minutes. Once the process is finished, you will be only left with unc0ver and Cydia app icons.
