It runs on Android Oreo out of the box. Galaxy Note 9 has a headphone jack as well and it uses a USB Type-C port for connectivity.
There is a smart S-Pen in the Galaxy Note 9. This S-Pen can control various applications of the phone. For example, users can use the S-Pen to launch the camera application. Single tapping the S-Pen captures the picture. Double tapping the S-Pen switches the camera and so on. The functionality of the S-Pen depends on what application you are using. It takes about 40 seconds to charge the S-Pen to last for 30 minutes. The S-Pen charges itself when it’s plugged inside the phone.
