One of the devices that will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress, is the mid range Moto G5 Plus. Well the device has been making rounds around the rumor mills for quite a while. We have seen different renders, live images and even the official press renders of the device which revealed how the device looked. Now renowned tipster, Evan Blass has shared the image of Verizon’s variant of Moto G5 Plus, confirming that the device will be available unlocked with this carrier.
Moto G5 Plus will feature a 5.2-inch 1080p display. Earlier rumors suggested that the device will have a 5.5-inch display but different leaks afterwards suggested that this is not the case. The smartphone will be equipped with Qulacomm Snapdragon 625 processor, along with a 2GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Moto G5 Plus will have a 12-megapixel main camera with a dual pixel auto focus and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The smartphone will run Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box and will be powered by a 3000mAh battery which will have a TurboPower charging feature. A 15 minuted quick will power the smartphone for more than 12 hours on normal smartphone functions.
MotoG5 Plus will be unveiled on 26th February at the MWC and most probably will arrive in the US markets on 3rd April. Right now it is not confirmed whether Moto G5 will also be announced for the the US market or not, these nitty gritty details will be confirmed in the coming days. Moto G5 Plus is expected to be priced at around $250.
