@disqus_LgJvP3Xqgy:disqus can you show me a screenshot of that error? If that's causing no harm, there's no need to worry about and you shouldn't touch it. Stock firmware is always the best and there's no new update after 4.4.2 KitKat for the S4 Mini. However, you may update using a custom firmware if you wish.
@disqus_LgJvP3Xqgy:disqus yes it's alright.
@disqus_LgJvP3Xqgy:disqus you should update. It's good.
Hi
I'm a little new at all this. I got my S4 mini GT-I9195 from UK last year and it was locked with EE's network. I had to root it with a custom 4.2.2. firmware to unlock the region lock.
I want to upgrade the phone to the latest firmware now. How do I do that? Would upgrading the firmware or resetting to factory settings remove the region unlock? I'm an absolute noob when it comes to the whole android cfw stuff and my phone's getting laggier day by day now .. so a little help would be greatly appreciated!!
@s4mininoob:disqus you can simply flash the 4.4.2 KitKat firmware using the guide above. There won't a problem at all. Best of Luck.
Thanks a lot :)
