Let’s tell you what to do when you start seeing, Unfortunately, Google Play Services Has stopped error on Android. An App Has Stopped is the most common error and everyone has seen it every now and then. There are some potential solutions that will help fix this issue.

Once Google Play starts crashing or a bug is affecting it, you’ll start seeing “Unfortunately, Google Play Services Has stopped” message on your Android device. Moreover, you can use Google Play nor you can download any app or game. This situation is very frustrating but no need to worry, you can fix it easily. Let’s get started.

Clear Cache and Clear data:

  • Open Settings on your Android device. Once you are in the setting menu you have to find Applications option ( if you are using Android 5.0 + ), if you are using Android 4.0 or lower then you have to use the more tab.
  • Now tap on More tab. [ I am using Galaxy Note 3 ]
  • Tap on Application Manager form the list.
  • Now select All Application with a swipe to left.
  • There you’ll see all your installed apps, Tap on Google Play Services.
  • Now all you have to do tap on Clear Cache and Clear data.
  • Now go to home screen and restart your device.

This method is for all the latest Android OS.

  • One your Android device, open Settings > Applications / Applications Manager > All Apps
  • Scroll all the way down and locate Google Play Services.
  • Tap Google Play Services to open its settings.
  • If you’re using Android Marshmallow or higher, you will have to tap Google Play Services > Storage to open cache and data options.
  • Now tap Clear Data and Clear Cache.
  • Now restart your Android device now.

Perform a Factory Reset:

  • Turn off your device.
  • Now press and hold home+Power+Volume Up key.
  • Release the power button once you see the logo, but keep holding home and Volume up keys.
  • Now when you see Android logo, let go both buttons.
  • Use the volume down button to navigate and highlight wipe data/factory reset.
  • Now use the power key to select the option.
  • You have to select ‘Yes‘ when you’ll be prompted for the next menu.
  • Now wait for the process to be completed, once it’s done highlight ‘Reboot system now’ and press power button to select it.
  • All Done.

Clear System Cache:

  • Turn off your device.
  • Now press and hold home+Power+Volume Up key.
  • Release the power button once you see a logo, but keep holding home and Volume up keys.
  • Now when you see Android logo, let go both buttons.
  • Use the volume down button to navigate and highlight wipe cache partition.
  • Now use the power key to select the option.
  • You have to select ‘Yes‘ when you’ll be prompted to the next menu.
  • Now wait for the process to be completed, once it’s done highlight ‘Reboot system now’ and press power button to select it.
  • All Done.

Download Latest Play Store APK Files:

Uninstall Updates:

  • Open Settings on your Android device.
  • Tap on Apps.
  • Scroll down and Tap on Google Play Store.
  • Now tap on 3 dots and select Uninstall updates.
