Sony Mobile is gearing up for the MWC 2017. At the CES held earlier this month they focused on appliances and smartphones were simply left out of the equation for the MWC. According to rumors Sony will be unveiling two new smartphones at the MWC: Sony G3221 and Sony G3112. The high-end Sony G3221 was spotted at the AnTuTu which further confirms the reports that this smartphone will be unveiled next month.
According to the specs benchmarked, the smartphone will be equipped with a MediaTek Helio P20 chipset which will be paired with Mali-T880 GPU. Heilo P20 is produced using the 16nm process which provides increased processing and advanced camera.video features. The device will have a 4GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. With competitors pushing for a 6GB RAM, Sony should have taken this aspect into consideration. At the moment the display size is not confirmed but a Full HD display will be used. The G3112 will sport a whooping 23MP main camera and a 16MP selfie shooter. Sony always impresses us with its camera specs and this time around it is no different.
We will get to know more about the G3221 in the coming days. Sony Mobiles will be sending out their invites for the MWC soon and that will also confirm what their plans are for the MWC.
