The Galaxy S9 was released in February 2017. The phone came out with a screen of 5.8 inches having 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution. Galaxy S9 was powered by Qualcomm SDM845 Snapdragon 845 CPU and Adreno 630 GPU. It had internal storage of 64/128/256 GB  and a RAM of 4GB only. The camera at the back of this phone was of 12 MP and on the front, it was of the only 8MP. Inside this phone, there was a 3000 mAh battery. The phone originally ran on Android 8.0 (Oreo), upgradable to Android 9.0 (Pie).

Galaxy S9 with slow Internet browsing issue:

The first thing you should do is to clear the cache and data of your browser app. Moreover, forcefully stop the app and restart your device.

Clear Cache and Clear data:

  • One your Android device, open Settings > Applications / Applications Manager > All Apps
  • Scroll all the way down and locate Internet.
  • Tap Internet to open its settings.
  • If you’re using Android Marshmallow or higher, you will have to tap Internet > Storage to open cache and data options.
  • Now tap Clear Data and Clear Cache.
  • Now restart your Android device now.

Force stop browser app:

  • One your Android device, open Settings > Applications / Applications Manager > All Apps
  • Scroll all the way down and locate Internet.
  • Tap Internet to open its settings.
  • If you’re using Android Marshmallow or higher, you will have to tap Internet > Storage to open cache and data options.
  • Tap on Force Stop.

Turn WiFi Off and On:

Sometimes your Internet connection is not getting full reception. Resetting the connection will help you fix slow Internet browsing on Galaxy S9.

  • Settings.
  • Connections.
  • Tap on Wifi.
  • Toggle the switch to turn off the WiFi and then toggle again to turn it on.

Forget Wi-Fi network then reconnect:

  • Open Settings your device.
  • Tap on Connections.
  • Tap on WiFi and Select the active connection.
  • Now Tap on WiFi network and you will see a pop-up.
  • At the end of the pop-up, you’ll see the forget option.
  • Tap on Forget.

Now reboot your device and add you WiFi connection again. Heed the instructions below.

  • Connections.
  • Tap on Wifi.
  • Select your WiFi network and enter the passkey to connect.

Reset APN or network settings:

This can be very helpful. Reset APN or Network Settings will help you get rid of WiFi connectivity issues. Resetting your Network setting will delete all the connection of Bluetooth and Wifi connections.

  • Open Settings on your Galaxy S9.
  • Scroll down and Tap on General Managment.
  • Tap on Reset and Select Reset Network Settings.

Perform Factory Reset:

  • Turn off your device.
  • Now press and hold Bixby+Power+Volume Up key.
  • Release the power button once you see the logo, but keep holding home and Volume up keys.
  • Now when you see Android logo, let go both buttons.
  • Use the volume down button to navigate and highlight wipe data/factory reset.
  • Now use the power key to select the option.
  • You have to select ‘Yes‘ when you’ll be prompted for the next menu.
  • Now wait for the process to be completed, once it’s done highlight ‘Reboot system now’ and press power button to select it.
  • All Done.

Wipe System Cache:

  • Turn off your device.
  • Now press and hold Bixby+Power+Volume Up key.
  • Release the power button once you see a logo, but keep holding home and Volume up keys.
  • Now when you see Android logo, let go both buttons.
  • Use the volume down button to navigate and highlight wipe cache partition.
  • Now use the power key to select the option.
  • You have to select ‘Yes‘ when you’ll be prompted to the next menu.
  • Now wait for the process to be completed, once it’s done highlight ‘Reboot system now’ and press power button to select it.
  • All Done.
